cinco de mayo

Hey Journal!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! This morning I got up and headed off to work. It was just another rainy day. In fact, it was pouring! We have not been having a good year as far as the weather is concerned!

I didn't have lunch today at work... I just wasn't feeling it for some reason! I couldn't decide what to get.

Steve didn't come in today. I prepped an e-mail that we're sending out next week and did a bunch of other random things.

I left work at 5:00 and headed home. Dan and I watched an episode of 13 Reasons Why and then we went out to get dinner at Chili's. We did call-ahead and we were running early so we stopped by Target to get some gift cards for Southwest. We arrived at Chili's at 7:30 on the dot and the girl told us we were next in line!

Of course, they proceeded to call a bunch of other people while we still waited so, after about 30 minutes, Dan complained, and then we were actually the next one's called.

We got our usual combination of Margaritas. The first round took a long time to come and when they did, they were REALLY melty. We sent them back and then we got new ones that were gross and frothy. I always get the Margaritas at Chili's so I know how they're SUPPOSED to taste! This was just weird. Oh well.

Another interesting tidbit for you -- when they replace an item for you, they leave it on the bill but then apply a discount in the amount of the item. Then, when it's time to pay, the little kiosk thing calculates the tip, before tax, BUT it still uses the price of the discounted item. So, just a little FYI. I mean, it would make sense if the discount was for a coupon or something but not if it's for a mistake!

The strawberry margaritas were much better. I got another one of them after, too.

After we ate we went back to Target and took pictures with the Luigi ball and also got pretzels. We should have gotten them the first time but I forgot!

Next, we came home and bought our Southwest Airlines tickets for our trip to Yellowstone in June! We booked our flights, watched Shark Tank, and then a little Judge Judy!

Now it's time for bed....
