July 07, 2017 - 11:55 p.m. Hey Journal! Happy Friday! Today was a pretty busy day at work but I finished up a lot of things I was working on and then I left at 5:00. When we got home, we headed out to dinner. Today was Jen B's birthday and Jen B had set up plans for us all to go out to dinner. She texted us and we confirmed that we were coming, BUT we were not. Re and Lisa had planned to go to a concert and it was a surprise. So, when Jen B started setting up her dinner, Re texted us all to tell us there was not going to be a dinner! Instead, we all played along! Since there was no dinner, we decided to go to the famous Lotus East with Kristen and Lau! We picked up Kristen on our way and Lau met us there. We had a nice dinner and good times! I got a Zombie, of course. Lau could not partake since she's with child. On the way home, we stopped at Wendy's to get Frostys and then we went back to Kristen's apartment. We hung out there for a while and watched old commercials on YouTube! It was great. Commercials just aren't as amazing as they used to be. As we were doing that we saw a commercial for Beautiful Mt. Airy Lodge! I loved those commercials...they were so ridiculous! Anyway, we looked them up now. I called the phone number of their commercials and it's no longer in service. Why would they change their 1-800 number. That's weird. I feel like 1-800 numbers are unnecessary now. Most people have unlimited calling on their cell phone and home phones and you don't pay for long distance anymore so there really isn't a need for a phone number that's "free" to call! We looked up some amazing videos of exploration of some abandoned hotels and resorts in Pennsylvania. It was like the Psych Center all over again! I would LOVE to go PA and check out some of these old hotels! We left there at 11:30 and headed home. I showered up and now we're off to bed! Until tomorrow... Goodnight. :)
