"owen the hotdog” or "grandma's new imac"

Hey Journal!

This morning we had plans to go to Relish for breakfast with Shawn, Caitlin, and Owen! Originally we planned to meet at 10:30 but with the time change we were up around 8:30 so we moved up our plans and decided to meet at 9:30 instead!

We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table and I got the Egg Special! We actually haven’t been to Relish since July, I think!

After we are, we went to Target and did some shopping. Caitlin was very excited to check out the Hearth and Hand collection! It was quite popular - there were a lot of people there checking it out!

Over in the Christmas section we bumped into our neighbors Cheryl and Dickie! Only one other time we bumped into Cheryl and her daughter at Target.

Anyway, the Halloween costumes were 70% off today and Shawn found a perfect one for Owen! It was a hot dog. Perfect size and it was just 2.00 after the discount!

He loved it. He put it on and ran around the store and people he passed kept commenting on how great it was!

It was rainy all day long so the plans we had to cull the pampas grass and other outdoor cleanup were put on hold.

After we left Target and said goodbye to Shawn, Caitlin, and Owen... we headed over to my Grandma’s house to help her with her computer!

She got the itch to get a new computer recently because he current one is about ten years old AND is super slow!

I told her she could get a PC for about $500 that would be similar to what she has now and would be faster OR a Mac for about $1,200 with a nice screen and probably much more reliable.

She opted to go with the Mac and Dan and I left to go to the Apple store to collect it for her!

We were pretty quick, in and out, and we got back and got to work setting it up. It didn’t take very long but my Grandma wanted me to move her photos over. It was taking forever to do over WiFi so I decided to just take it home with me and I’ll put them on a USB drive or something.

For dinner my Grandma gave us spaghetti with meat sauce and Dan added eggplant to his, I think.

We left around 5:15 and got home at 5:30. I showered up and then we watched HTGAWM.

Next up we watched some Judge Judy and now we’re all set for Walking Dead at 9!

Shameless also starts a new season tonight which I’m quite excited about BUT we can’t watch tonight!
