"Happy Birthday Mom" or "Being Social in Sociology"

Hey amigos!!

Well, today was a beast day becasue I had to go to school! LoL It was boring, and I just hope the next nine days of class go by really quickly!

Today in school, we learned about Pornography in Sociology! And in case I didn't tell you, The show on the Discovery Channel that was exactly like my class, It was on TV again and since I forgot to take the one that JC had taped for me, I taped it myself. I went to my Sociology teacher's office the other day after class, and left the tape at her door with a note.
Today in class, she said "Is Brian B******** here? Brian B********?" I didn't say anything, I kinda looked at my notebook and didn't know what to do. She said "Well, if you're here...Thank you for the video!"
Here comes the good part! All during class, I thought about what I should do. Should I go over to her after class? Should I just leave and forget about it? Leave and forget about it, I decided. No reason to talk to her. Then, as the class ended.. I had a sudden surge of courage! I decided.. I will go up there and tell her it was me! I must! I started to pick up my backpack..and it was all tangled on the seat! It took so long to get it off! I was standing there thinking to myself, "I had better get this off before I lost my courage to go up there!!!" (Yes, I'm a fool!) Anyway, I got my backpack free and I walked down the steps to the front of the room! After some girl had finished talking to her, I went up and said:

"Hi! I'm Brian, I'm the one who left you the video!!"
She said, "Oh!! Thank you so much! It was very interesting! I'll give it back to you soon!"
I said, "No no, Keep it..."
"Are you sure?"
"Sure, I just saw it on TV and thought you might like to see it!"
"Thanks!"
"Ah, You're welcome!"

Wow! It wasn't even bad or anything! I need to be less afraid of speaking to people! I know, I'm working on it! But anyway, I have wanted to say something to her since I had her last semester for Intro to Soc! She's so cool!!! I'm glad I finally did! Hey, maybe I'll get a few extra points for my efforts! :)

Anyway, today is my Mom's Birthday!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! She thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas CD and Chocolates that I gave her!

After school, we went to the car place, and looked at some used cars for me!! :)
I saw some that I liked, one was REALLY great, except that it only had two doors! I'm telling you...If that car had been a 4-door, It would probably be in my driveway right now!! It had a sunroof and everything. Mmmmm. Well, tomorrow the search continues at every dealer along that road with the dealers on it! I must find a new chariot!!

After that, I went to the St. James Diner with my mom! Cara wasn't there! In fact...The waitress that we had said, "I don't usually work at night. I'm just covering for someone!" I'll bet that that 'someone' is Cara!

Anyway, when I got home...I listened to the Live accounts from BLI's WinterJam on the radio! The one thing that I couldn't figure out is why, even after the show had been in progress for 2 1/2 hours, they still kept saying you could come down and get tickets at the door! Why would you want to go sooo late! Hmm, oh well!

Oh!! It seems that all I listen to now, in the car while I'm driving is WALK's Christmas music!! It's so amazing, soo much Christmas music!!

Another interesting piece of information is that my favorite Newsday radio commercials are now television ads too!!

Well, It's time for me to get to bed! One last thing is that I uploaded the few pictures that I have from Jen's Post-Thanksgiving bash! Take a look by going to Beneet-Esque! The link is over there...on the left column of this page, at the top!
