"disney: day 4" or "animal kingdom and mgm"

Hey Journal!!

Today was Animal Kingdom and MGM! With a little Downtown Disney in between!

We got up early and ate cereal before heading over to Animal Kingdom. We arrived a little before 9, which was the opening time. We waited at the Tree of Life until they released the group of people from the ropes and we ran right over to the Kilimanjaro Safari!

It was lots of fun, we saw some cool animals and got really close to a giraffe! After that we went to the Kali River Rapids. There was noone on line, and we got on a raft with these kids who had been on it two times already. They let everyone stay on, since noone at all was waiting. They were funny kids, and they kept hoping we'd get soaked. Their parents/whaevers on the other side of the raft were nice too, we stayed on it once with them, and didn't really get wet.. then the second time around Dan and I were in the wet seats! Ahhh! It took a long time to dry off. Meanwhile, we would have gotten off after one ride, but as the kids were about to get off...they decided to stay one more time, and we were peer pressured to stay also!!

Anyway lol, after that we did all the rest of animal kingdom, Dinoland USA, Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Conservation Station, the Maharaja Trek, and Camp Minnie-Mickey. We finished with AK at about 3:00 and headed back to the hotel to take a short rest, before heading to MGM and Downtown Disney! Tonight MGM was open until 1:00am! How exciting!

We got drinks, and then left the hotel...and got on the bus to Downtown Disney! It was fun, we went to all the cool stores and wandered around. Around 7:00 we headed over to MGM. We did the Great Movie Ride, the Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster, Muppets 3-D, and the Animation tour, where we got to draw Piglet! Very exciting!

It was open until 1am, so we got to do Tower of Terror really fast with no wait! We did it twice.. it was so great! On the line for the Movie Ride there was this kid, who was talking to the girl in front of him on line, and somehow they started talking about how he "can't gain weight" and he "wishes he could". I was like.. Wow.. sounds like me. Then I noticed that he also had THE BUMP..and it began to further Scare me when he whipped out two Uniball Vision pens (the pens I used to have before I discovered the Gel G2) and then, he had the same cell phone I used to have.. the VX4400! So weird. Anyway, the movie ride was good... I liked the old lady who played the villain in it! She was crazy!

We got back to the hotel around 1:30 and went to sleeeep. And that's all for day four!

Tomorrow is Epcot, and then we're gonna take it from there...
