"randomness with casey" or "new ikea dresser"

Hey Journal!

Today we got up at about 10:00, and had no real plans for the day. We hung around for a little while, and then went out.

First stop..Lowe's. We had to go get the twirler rod thingy for the blinds because the lady forgot to put it back in the box last night after she cut them! Ahh!

We found it, right there next to the cutting machine! And then we proceeded to the Lake Grove Diner for breakfast. I got two eggs, medium, with white toast. It was good, but a little funky tasting. The plates were also old and yucky looking.

After that we deiced to go to Ikea to satisfy our random furniture needs. We got there, and looked at many goods, but we had a hard time picking out which color we needed, and what kinds of book shelf or other stuff we needed. We wound up only getting one main thing, and that was another dresser, because we are really low on drawer space!

We spent a lot of time there, and had quite a fun time perusing the crazy things they have there.

We loaded everything into the car and then we went off to Bob's Discount Furniture to take a look around there. We saw some alright looking things, but nothing that would be perfect for under the window. :( We stopped off in Bob's Caf� and had some Lemonade, Iced Tea, and Cookies. Dan had popcorn. lol

We then went to Hecksher Park in Huntington and walked around for a while. There were some crazy ducks there making scary noises.

Next we came home, and hung around for a while before going out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! We had a wild waitress named Zina! Pronounced the same as the Warrior Princess, only spelled differently.

She was really nice, and had a little flower in her hair, but she seemed a little overwhelmed. She was fun though!

So, after dinner, we came home! Now we're watching a movie called "The World According to Sesame Street" and I am going to start to put the dresser together! :)
