"who's most likely" or "scrawl"

Hey Journal!

Tonight we had a really great time hanging out and playing some games with everyone! It was so fun!

Jen B, Lisa, JC, Lau, and Ryan came over tonight for a little pizza/game night and we started out with some drinks. Dan went to pick up the pizza around 7:45 and we got three pies. One plain, one pepperoni, and one sausage. We ate dinner, and then we decided to play the games we had gotten.

When we were in Target earlier, we were trying to find something fun that everyone would enjoy but it was kinda hard since we had never played these games before. We decided to get one game there, called Scrawl, and one game at Urban Outfitters called "Who's Most Likely!"

Both of them turned out to be big hits! We played Who's Most Likely first. In that game, you get a card with a phrase on it and then you vote on who that card best describes! There were some really funny matches!

After playing several rounds of that game, we decided to move on to the next, but before that, we played the lightning round! I made up the Lightening round -- which means everyone took a big handful of cards and then everyone put their cards in front of the person who they thought they best described! Then we all took turns going around the table and reading them all off! It was hysterical!

Scrawn was next and it turned out to be a big hit. Basically, you start with something written on a card and you draw a picture of it. The next person writes their interpretation of the drawing and then the next person draws THAT. When it gets back to you you have a really funny story of how the card when from what you drew to where it ended up!

We had a great time playing that and we did a bunch of rounds!

After the games, JC departed and the rest of us hung out and talked for a bit longer before Jen B, Lisa, Lau, and Ryan headed out.

Everyone left around 12:30 and then I took a shower and Dan did also. Now I'm in my PJs and ready for bed!

Backtrack! This morning I go up at the usual time and Dan came to work with me! We needed to get a bunch of stuff done in the office so Dan volunteered to come in and help me out.

On the way to work we stopped at Target to get another wrapping paper storage bin but they didn't have any. Then I had to stop at the cemetery to pick up some things there.

When we got to the office, Dan started out by doing a bunch of the daily closes. Throughout the day he helped file stuff, staple things, put together welcome packets for new members, and just generally got a ton of little things done that have been lingering around for a while. It turned out to be great because I need some time in January to get things done and this will definitely help!

For lunch we ate at the bar and I got the special Pita sandwich again today. Dan got a quesadilla and we watched Family Feud!

Some dues payments came in today and I'm hoping we get some more tomorrow so we can at least keep up with where we were at this time last year!

We left work around 4:00 and headed home. When we got home, Dan and I prepared for everyone to arrive and then went to Target to get some chips and to look for a game. We found the one game, Scrawl, there and then we realized the game "Who's Most Likely?" was available at Urban Outfitters. We had heard about it on the radio and thought it sounded fun. So, we hurried over there, got the game, got home, and arrived at 6:45. At 7, everyone arrive, and now we're back to where I started!
