"friday night diner and games"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up and headed in to work for my last day of freedom! Next week, Dan's their alaskan trip and the office is going to get much crazier.

Today was good though, very productive! Re came in today and it was very busy. We had lunch outside.

I left work at 5:00 and stopped at Price Club on the way home. Dan met me there and we got steaks for dinner. after that, Dan stopped at ShopRite to get a few more things and then we came home.

When we got home, we set up the pool filter. Everything was working well so tomorrow we are going to start cleaning and filtering the water!

At 7:15, Linda came over and we took a walk to the park and then around the neighborhood. It was a really nice night out so we wanted to spend some time outside. As we were walking, we saw a bunch of rabbits and one of them was a really tiny baby. It was hopping around in the street and it ran across the street and then smacked directly into the curb! I think it was trying to hop up but couldn't make it!

There was a guy delivering pizza and he was afraid he was going to run over it as he left! It was quite the scene. Eventually it found its way up the little ramp and onto the grass!

When we got back home, we made dinner. Steak and mashed potatoes! The steak was a tad bit overcooked but it wasn't terrible. We had mashed potatoes as well.

After dinner we played some games. We tried to play SongPop but it wasn't working AGAIN! By special request, we also watched some episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark?

Linda, Connor, and Cameron departed at midnight, and now it's time for Dan and I to get to bed! We watched an episode of Judge Judy and I'm tired!
