July 21, 2017 - 11:58 p.m. Hey Journal! Happy Friday! This morning I got up at the normal time and headed off to work. I got to work around 9:15 and worked on the dues stuff all day long! I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about next year. I prepared the letter and now it's time to get the computer system ready for the onslaught! For lunch I had chicken wings and then I left work a little before 5. Tonight, we had plans to have my cousin Christen over to go in the pool and then go out to dinner. Her new boyfriend wasn't able to come for the pool portion of the evening because he had a friend visiting. When Christen arrived, Dan made some strawberry daiquiris and we got our bathing suits on and took a dip in the pool! I only had a few sips of my drink because , at some point, Christen picked mine up accidentally and then drank it down! She had both hers and mine! She realized it a long time later. It was no big deal anyway, it was all good! We planned to meet at Margarita's at about 8:15 and we arrived and got a drink at the bar while we waited for Christen's boyfriend and his friend to arrive. They were super-late because he was having some car trouble. After a while, Christen couldn't get in touch with him anymore so we sat down and started to order our dinner but before we got our food, they arrived! It was nice to meet Christen's boyfriend and we also met his friend Eddie. Dinner was good, and I was hoping to be serenaded by the Mariachi band but they were on break the whole night. They just sat on the couch and did no singing. Very unfortunate. We got home around 11:30 and now we're just getting ready for bed. Until tomorrow... Goodnight. :)
