"ten percent, please" or "ho-oh"

Hey Journal!

This morning we got up and hung around the house for a while before venturing out around 12:30 to catch some Pokemon! Since Gen 3 was released, I hadn't really done many raids and I wanted to try to catch the latest legendary, Ho-oh!

We saw one starting over by Mama Lombardi's in 20 minutes so we headed over and got there just as it was starting. We had to wait a whole for more people to show up. Slowly but surely people started to arrive and we finally had enough people to start a raid.

There was one woman who wa really wacky, one woman who came with her husband but he was wearing a suit and she was all dressed up and they were about 60 years old, and then some guys who wouldn't get out of their car. It was a really weird mix.

We gave it a shot and we were able to do it! Wahoo! Of course, I didn't catch it. Only one person in the group did, and she caught it on her second phone which was someone else's account. She also had already caught a ton. We saw that another raid was going on at a nearby church so we all headed over there. Everyone from the Mama Lombardi group came and we did it again at the new venue! This time I was lucky enough to catch it! The older woman was in her car and she was down to her final few balls and she asked me for help throwing a curveball! I did a few throws but didn't get it and then the strange woman came over and gave it a try. She tried twice and then on her last ball and last throw it was caught! We were all so excited and high-fived! It was great.

On the way home we stopped at Target to get the 10% off gift cards. They have a $300 limit per person so Dan and I each got one. Then we came home, watched some TV, and then went back out to the Huntington Target to get more.

We each got two more $300 certificates, bringing out total to total to $1,200. And then, on the way home from there, we stopped back at our Target and got another $300, rounding out our day at $1,800! We saved 10% on that and so we saved $180! Wahoo! I mean we KNOW we're going to spend the money there so I see no reason NOT to give them a loan with 10% interest....although it's actually only 5% since we would get 5% anyway with the RedCard.

We got home around 7:00 and now it's time for bed!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
