"track meet" or "furniture fun"

Hey Journal!

This morning I woke up at 11:30 because my mom was talking loudly downstairs. I woke up several other times in the morning cause it was way too light in my room.

All-in-all I got a pretty good night's sleep, and I got up and decided to go to the bank and to Wendy's with my mom and Alexandra.

I got ready and ate some cereal, and off we went. It was an alright time, Wendy's was good for lunch. Alexandra ate like crazy.. she ate a hamburger kids meal, fries included. Then had a 5 piece chicken nuggets and a frosty.

Then I came home and went over to Dan's. We wanted to take a little walk, so we went up the the High school, and walked to the track area, but there was a huge track event going on there. Lots of schools were there for some sort of track meet.

We decided to stay and watch for a while.. it was CRAZY! There was the man with the safari hat who had a stopwatch, the hurdle crew, the CRAZY girls speed walking, so many random funny things. The speed walking was INSANE... none of them looked like they were trying to beat anyone, they just all walked at the same speed and didn't try to do anything! It was so strange!

After that, we walked around for a while, up to Accompsett and around, and reminisced about Elementary school, and then went back.

We hung around Dan's house for a while trying to reset my police scanner cause it was having some problems getting the right frequencies.

When Dan's dad got home, we went back up to the school and Dan practiced hitting some softballs, and we went around the collected them in the outfield. One ball hit me in the ankle and it hurtttt!

We then took a ride out to Bob's Furniture to pay for our furniture and then schedule a delivery...

We paid, and then we tried to set a delivery, but there was a problem because the lamps were delayed until Mid May and then the rug was discontinued! We talked to Kurt, our friendly salesman, who reminds me SOOO much of the guy from Princess Bride (a movie I've never seen...) the same guy who plays Jeffery Engels on the Cosby Show. Anyway, he set the delivery for the furniture, and then he said we could pick out another rug. We went to go look at the rugs and we saw the one we wanted hanging there!! We talked to Kurt about it, and he was able to get it for us! So we were able to get our rug!! :) So exciting.

Anyway...after that we wanted to go to dinner.. and it was about 9:00.. We headed back and picked up Re, and we were going to visit Joey at Ruby Tuesday's. We got there, and he was actually getting off of work... so we talked for a while, and then decided to go to Applebee's!

Joey came with us, and we had a very enjoyable time!

Then Re, Dan, and I took a drive around, and the called it a night!

Now I'm exhausted and have to go shave before getting to bed! I really need to sleep late tomorrrow! Sooo soo tired!
