"jen b's fam party" or "robert moses with steve"

Hey Journal!

The weekend is almost over. :( Soon it will be time for bed, and then when I wake up...work again. No fun! Grrrr!

We slept late this morning and got up around 10:30. We got ourselves ready, ate some cereal for breakfast, and then went to meet Steve, Christopher, Laura, etc. at the beach. They were at Robert Moses Field 4. So, there was INTENSE traffic on the RM parkway from the Southern. It was insane, all backed up to go to the beach! It ended up taking us over an hour to get there! As we were going into the parking lot, there were two lines of cars formed at the tool booths. People kept zipping up around everyone, and just getting RIGHT in at the front of the line.... so eventually people got tired of this, and this red boxy-looking Honda came over and tried to do it, and about TEN cars went by, with noone letting them in! The people in front of us, a -latino- family, they had words with the people in the Honda, because they were motioning like, "Why won't you let us in?" and apparently they were telling them no because they had tried to cut the whole line! So anyway, as we passed, they were making all sorts of disgusted faces, and basically disgusted that WE wouldn't like the in either. So I told them "WHY DON'T YOU GET IN LINE!!" And they said, "WE WERE!" To which we kindly drove up, not letting them in. Now, that makes no sense because, if they had been in line, there's no way they would have been out in the middle of the road trying to cut back in. Anyway, after we went by, and the car behind us.. they drove over. Perhaps to turn back around and try it again, the fair way. lol haha.

So, we got down to the beach and located Steve, and we had fun times. They all went in the water, but I stayed back, and went in up to my knees. Then we took a walk down the beach, and that was quite fun.

We layed down for a while, and enjoyed.

Hulya came, too... but shortly after she arrived we departed. We went back to Dan's to return the chairs we borrowed, and then took a quick dip in the pool.

Then we went right over to Jen B's. Her yearly Fam party was today! Dan went in the pool with Lau, and I floated around on a big inflatable chair. I loved it.

We conversed with Aunt Brat, and the usual Jen B fam party fun.

We had yummy hamburgers, and CORN ON THE COB!!! I love corn on the cob!! Jen B, Re, and Robby left early to go to their volleyball game at Jones, and then after they left there was cake and dessert. Dan and I left after that, cause we had tons of stuff to get done before tomorrow, around here.

We got back and took showers, then I put the dishwasher on, and put away my clothes and got stuff ready for tomorrow, and now we're getting ready for bed! This weekend seemed like it lasted a long time, and we did SOOOO much... but now it's sad that it's over and I can't believe it's back to work tomorrow!!

Wild.

Anyway, that's all for tonight. Tomorrow is work, and then Dan's softball game!
