"thanksgiving prep"

Hey Journal!

Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Today I had work, and it was a little busy at the golf course today! The most players we've had in weeks.

After work, I came home and Dan had gotten out of work early, so he made dinner! It was some enjoyable chicken!

After dinner, we went to Stop and Shop to buy some more ingredients for our Thanksgiving feast! We are going to follow some instructions from a TV show on the Food network about herb basting the chicken, and incorporate some tips that we heard on Martha Stewart Radio on Sirius today. She had a live telethon where people called in to ask questions, so we learned some stuff from that.

We bought our stuff, and came home... Then we did some preparations for tomorrow... mostly making the special "butter" that we're going to put on the turkey tomorrow!

This is certainly going to be some endeavor! There's a lot of room for disaster, so let's hope all goes smoothly!!

Then we took a little drive, just to get out of the house, and now I must get to bed!!

Gotta get up early.. this is a 20 pound turkey, and it needs to get into the oven for 5 and a half hours of baking!!
