"another TURKEY pot pie" or "monteal, here we come...again"

Hey Journal!

Well, it's back to work tomorrow! All the fun and excitement of the Thanksgiving weekend is over. Thanksgiving and turkey. Black Friday and shopping madness. Leftovers and fun times. Back to work tomorrow.

In a rather new development, Dan and I are going to Montreal this weekend to see Fred!! (And hopefully Charlot too!!) This all came down today... What happened was, we had given up on going to visit them again, because it was so close to Christmas, and our original plan had been to go visit sometime in early November.... So, Dan called Fred tonight to see if they were definitely coming to visit us after Christmas, and to make some definite plans, and Fred said that they are going to come, but they don't want to go to Times Square to see the ball drop (thank God!!) lol But he really wanted us to come, so we looked at the next few weekends, and the only one that worked for us is THIS upcoming weekend. Wild, I know! SO... That's that... this weekend it is!

Anyway... back to today's events...

We got up and watched some TV, and then went to BJs. We had a coupon thing for a free trial membership, so we went to give it a try. It was nice, but I think I like Price Club better. Most of this store is set up exactly like Price Club... it's like they stole their layout! lol

Anyway, it was alright, and we got our toilet paper and paper towels that we needed! Woo.

So anyway, after that I came home, and Dan went over to his house to go out to the store with his mom.

I did some lessons on the computer, watched a movie that Tivo had recorded for me, watched some of Vegas Vacation on Tivo, and then began work on Dinner!

Using the leftovers from Thanksgiving, and substituting turkey broth for chicken brother, I made "Another Chicken Pot Pie" with Turkey... thus making it, "Another Turkey Pot Pie"! Woo! I love it. It came out AMAZINGLY... tasted very turkey-ish, of course, but was a great use of the leftovers, it made the turkey nice and juicy again. Also, I am going to try to make Turkey soup soon, too.

Anyway, then I took a shower, and Dan called Fred, and then it was time for Desperate Housewives. It was a good episode tonight, very enjoyable. Next week looks wild! This tornado thing and all!!

Well, that's all for tonight.. must get to bed... work tomorrow!!
