"dan's mom's b-day" or "over-pass"

Hey Journal!

Today I got up at around 10:30 and just watched a few minutes of TV before deciding to go over to help my grandma with her phone. She's getting Optimum Voice, and she needed me to get another handset, because the phone is gonna be moved around. BUT... the one I got doesn't have a speaker phone thingy... so I dunno what she wants to do yet.

I came home and Re came over. She was all ready to walk since she missed out outdoorsy day yesterday! First we played a quick round of Buzz Movies! I have to say, it still isn't as great as the first Buzz, BUT it was a LOT better than last night! Apparently, it was shortened because we had 5 players! What beast! This one had many more rounds, and was a little more exciting.

Except.. I STILL can't figure out why they would have made that stupid "FACT OR FICTION" game into a FULL ROUND! Blah!

Anyway, after that we drove to a park in Huntington, and only took a little stroll cause we realized there was really no trail to walk on. It was okay though because it was kinda cold out and not nearly as nice as the day before. It looked like it was gonna rain.

We went to Roosevelt Field Mall instead. We got some "Bourbon Chicken" at a place called Asian Chao. I think. lol Then we wandered the mall and I got a Mets hat and new shoes! Woo.

We also got Dan's mom some gift cards for her birthday!

We came home, and then went to Cheesecake Factory for Dan's mom's birthday! We had a little wait, so we went over to the new Barnes and Noble to check it out. Yeah, it's FINALLY open.... it took them long enough!!

Diner was good... I got the Chicken and Biscuits as usual. lol

Then we went back to sing, and give Dan's mom our present, and then we headed home.

We watched Desperate Housewives... enjoyable episode. I'm so happy our shows are finally coming back! lol

Anyway, now it's time to get to bed!

I have no class tomorrow!! Yes, it's "Over-Pass" which is a traditional Jewish holiday in which respect is paid to the many men and woman who worked tirelessly to construct bridges over our nation's roadways.
