"ticket to sleep"

Hey Journal!

Today I got up at about 10:30 and watched some TV. Dan went to the Gym, and when he got back we were contemplating what to do for breakfast, but since we couldn't figure anything out, we settled for cereal and whatever was here.

We watched some TV, and I printed envelopes for work.

A crazy storm came by and there was a torrential downpour, but it didn't last long. We went to the mall and walked around a few times, and then came home.

We watched some Food Network stuff, and then had to leave because Dan had free tickets to a show at the Patchogue Theater that he had gotten from work.

We stopped at the Verizon store to peruse phones because I'm due for a new one, and I really want one.. but the ones they have now are so ugly and weirdly shaped. I'm not really a fan.

So, after that we went to visit Joey for dinner, and much to our surprise, when we arrived, he was not working!! I forgot he had gotten another job that he does on Saturdays now! So, we contemplated if we should just go eat somewhere else, but decided to stay. I really wanted the baked potato! haha

Randomly, Jill turned out to be our waitress, so that we cool. We had a good dinner, and then proceeded to Patch. We got there early, and walked around for a while, and then met up with Dan's co-worker, Alecia, and this woman Wendy.

The show was alright... but a little boring. It was called Ticket To Ride, and it was a Beatles thing. The band played a bunch of Beatles songs, and there were dancers who danced to each song in front of them. What was weird was, in the beginning I though the dancers were going to tell a story, and it seemed like they were, it seemed like this one guy and girl were the main characters, and they were falling in love, or something... but then each song, they would break up or be in love, or be sad depending on the song, but there was no continuity or storyline to follow. So...all in all.. it was kinda strange.

It was weird, and I wouldn't recommend going unless the tickets are free.

Afterwards, we were talking in the parking lot for a while, and we see this old lady come out of the theater, she's being pushed in a wheelchair by some other woman. The woman proceeds to help this frail old lady out of the wheelchair, and into, what else...., but the the DRIVER'S SEAT of a car! Nice!

As they started to leave the parking lot, they rolled the windows down and asked us, "Does anyone know how long it takes to get to Connecticut from here?" Dan and Wendy went over to help them, and they asked "Well, are you going to take the ferry?" So she tells them, as if everyone should know... "THE FERRY CLOSED AT 9:00!" Oh geez, sorry, cause we memorize the ferry schedule. LOL

Anyway, she then asked if we knew directions! This woman was a mess.

So, we came home, and on the way we stopped and Dan and I got some Flying Saucers from Carvel! We got a big pack, so we can enjoy them for a few days!

Now we're about to eat our Carvel and watched Batman Begins (Courtesy of JRO) who sent it all the way from the "Golden State" of Cali.

Anyway, I shall depart now!

Goodnight. :)
