"course closed" or "christmas tree"

Hey Journal!

Another weekend gone flying by, and now it's back to work. At least one day is down.

I woke up this morning at 7:52. Headed off to work, and today we closed the course for the season. So, that's it for golf. No more members around, no more craziness, until March!

There was, however, a party today in the restaurant, so we were not as quiet as we have been on Mondays the past few weeks.

For lunch, Dan and I went to Price Club and got some free samples, and then had Pizza. I REALLY REALLY wanted a free sample of the chocolate Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake, but the old woman at the sample thing was SO FREAKING SLOW, and she had cup up all of the non-chocolate slices except for one, and she was on that last one, and she literally took like.. a minute to cut one little sample square off the slice. So it would have been like 10 mins till she got to the chocolate side! It was awful. So we left and got our pizza. lol

On the way home from work I went to a few different stores to buy a magazine with Michael Phelps on the cover, however none of the store I went to had it. Not 7-11, not Uncle Giuseppe, not Rite-Aid, or the card store. I mean, it's GQ! What the heck.

I got home and had soup for dinner, and then we went Christmas Tree Shopping.

We went to Home Depot and met Dan's parents there. It was really cold, and most of the trees were frozen solid! So, we bought this one that was already opened, and had a realllly crazy top. The top branch is all curly and weird! I love it. Dan's parents got one that was frozen like a pencil! They figured they'd just take a chance on it! It was really funny though! The kid working there gave it to us at a reduced price, and he called it a "Dr. Seuss tree."

Anyway, we got it home and put it in the stand, and now this week we have to decorate! :)

Now we're gonna go watch Prison Break and get ready for bed!
