"netflix on tivo = buggy"

Hey Journal!

Well today was a lazy day.. We got up around 11:00, and watched some TV... then played some Mario Kart, and then watched some 30 Rock on the Tivo/Netflix.

Okay, now I have a complaint about Netflix on Tivo. Sometimes it works perfectly.. and then other times it has the strangest problems. The bad part is that the problems are occurring more frequently. First, It will start off by showing the bars for a looong time. It'll keep changing from having all but two bars, to saying HD, and then going back to all but two. During this time, the screen is black, and the Tivo intermittently stops sending a signal to the TV, prompting the TV to say (HDMI INPUT) in the upper left hand corner. (And that in itself is a big problem, because regardless of the signal quality, or if it's showing anything.. the Tivo shouldn't stop transmitting to the TV. So, It'll finally work, and then if it happens again.. you could press the pause button, and then the Tivo will freeze completely, and need to be restarted, which takes about 5 minutes. ANNOYING.

And then sometimes, it works like a charm.

Frankly, I would rather it not try to hard to get an HD signal, and just settle for something in the middle, as long as it wasn't burping all the time. I'm sure in the future they will release a new version of this Netflix software to solve this annoyingness.

So anyway, we went to the mall, walked around, then went to Target, and spent a hundred dollars on things we needed. :( Too much money. Oh, and before that we went to return something we had purchased at Bed, Bath, and Beyond yesterday.

So, we stopped at Trader Joe's on the way home, and then had dinner, and watched TV. There was no DH on tonight... a repeat! Weird.

Anyway, now I'm not tired, so just killing some time online!
