"st. thomas" or "the dancing dolphin"

Hey Journal!

This morning we arrived in St. Thomas, and we didn't have an excursion planned, so we took our time getting up. We got up at about 9:15 and had a leisurely breakfast. Some cereal, eggs, that stuff.

Then we went off the ship, and walked around the little shopping area by the docks. We found a place called Waterworld, where we were able to book a snorkeling thing. We went back on the ship, got our credit card, and came back. The lady at the store told us, "You'll love the operator!"

Then we had to wait for the snorkeling, which started at 1. So we walked around and hung out. We went to a little restaurant, and Dan got a beer, and the old woman who worked there danced like wild!

Then we got on our catamaran... the Dancing Dolphin, and headed out to go snorkeling. We got to the Buck Island area, and got off by jumping into the water off the boat. We saw turtles, cool fish, and other fun things. It was really wild.

Then we got back on, and headed back in to the port. On the way back they mixed crazy crazy strong drinks, and they were free, and plentiful! It was insane! We drank a LOT.

The rest of this is quite a blur... but Dan went to a bar near the ship and I got back on the ship to get my iPhone to call home. I got off the ship again, and met Dan at the bar. We conversed on the phone, although I am not sure who actually answered the phone, and who I spoke to!

We got back on, and the ship departed.

We started randomly talking to two British flight attendants on the deck, and then we headed back to the room to get ready for dinner. I took a shower, and we headed out. We weren't expecting our dinner friends to be back, since they had not been there the last time. But alas, they did come! We caught up on our activities the last few days. We never ever see them around the ship!

After dinner, the waiters did a little dancing!

Then we went to watch the Hypnotist show, and sat with the flight attendants. The hypnotist show was...interesting.. but I'm not sure I understand the difference between just sitting up on the stage and doing what you're told, and being hypnotized. Hmmm.

After that, we had some ice cream, took a walk around on the deck, had some pizza, and now it's time for bed!!
