"memorial day" or "no bbqs"

Hey Jounral!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

Unlike the past few Memorial Days, we didn't have a BBQ at the park. I know, it made me sad too. I wish we had planned one. All I know is we won't forget for Labor Day!

Dan and I got up around 11:00, and didn't really have anything to do. We hung around the house for a while, watched some TV. My mom brought us bagels for breakfast as a special MDW treat, and Dan got coolatas from Dunkin Donuts.

After that, we went to the mall, just walked around for a bit, and then came home and watched last week's season finale of Gossip Girl. It was a good, except the who episode was about finding out who Gossip Girl really was, but they never did. That was annoying.

Then we went to Best Buy, and then to Panera for dinner. While we were there, we brought the laptop and went online for a while! It's a different experience when you don't have the internet at home! It really isn't that bad, it's just inconvenient every now and then.

We came home, and cleaned up a little around the house, and then we went to Friendly's for ice cream. I got a conehead, and Dan's cone came in a crazy little styrofoam box!

Anyway, it's about time for bed now! MDW 09 went by way too fast. I can't believe it's back to work tomorrow already.
