"up early" or "kristen, don, and al"

This morning, we got up too early... 8:00! We decided, however, that since we were already up, going back to sleep would be a waste of the day, and that we should try to find something to do to make the most of it!!

We hung around the house for a little bit, and then went to McDonald's for breakfast. My pancakes were ice cold, so we got new ones. The new ones were burning hot. There were some crazy customers in the place.

There was a banner hanging up that said children under 12 get free ice cream with adult purchase. And then there was a yellow burst over the picture of the ice cream, and it said, as if they were advertising something amazing, "SPRINKLES HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED." How sad is that!

After breakfast we went to the mall, and walked around, went into some stores. It was pretty empty. I guess all the normal people were at the beach or still sleeping. haha. I got a nice shirt in Hollister.

We didn't do anything too exciting without morning, but it was still nice to have the whole day. The day felt so much longer!

Then we came home for a little bit, watched some TV and went online, then we went back out to the bank to deposit my paycheck, and then to TCBY in Commack for Dan to get some frozen yogurt.

When we got home, I took a little nap, for about an hour, and then it was 6:30. I had a hard time getting out of bed, wishing I could just stay asleep all night long!

Kristen and Don came over at 7:00 and we went to Smokin' Als for dinner! On the way there we pulled up alongside a man, at a light, who was driving an ugly van, and was DRINKING a Mike's Hard lemonade. What an ass. Drinking and driving isn't bad enough.. he has to DRINK WHILE DRIVING. Nice. Don called the po-lice. However, he was behind us for a while, and then turned off the road, and as of then, the police hadn't gotten him.

There was a 25 minute wait, so we walked around the town for a bit. Then returned. Dinner was yummy. We got sooo much food, we had many many leftovers!

Anyway, we came back here and went to Ralph's to get some Ices! We walked around the streets off of Maple avenue, which we have decided are the forgotten lands of Smithtown. They are stuck in a time warp, and have a very south-shore feel. Who ever goes back there? Weird.

We came back here and watched some TV, and Kristen and Don left a few minutes ago! Now I must get ready for bed... I can barely keep my eyes open. I'm gonna make myself a frozen pretzel, and then hit the bed!
