"breakfast with the snow queen" or "holiday party"

Hey Journal!

This morning, we got up around 8:30. It was WAY too early for a Saturday morning! We had to get up early for my mom's "Breakfast with the Snow Queen!" You may remember that after last Halloween, my mom purchased a crazy "snow queen" costume from Target for only $3! It was wild! Now, each Christmas, she breaks it out for this special event!

We got there around 9:15, and the triplets were there also. We had breakfast, which was mickey mouse pancakes and sausage! It was a fun time! We hung out there for a little while after breakfast, and then we went to Best Buy.

While we were there, we got my Grandma a new telephone for the house. The old one has been getting pretty old, and has a lot of problems... the batteries always die, the buttons are wearing off and it's hard to see the numbers... it's just a mess! So, we got them a new one with four handsets! The put one in the dining room, one in the family room, one in their bedroom, and one in the basement!

After we bought it, we brought it over and hooked it up, and my grandma made Spaghetti and Peas for us for lunch. It was good!

Then, Dan and I went to Bottle Bargains in Northport to get a bottle of Vodka to replace the one we borrowed from Dan's parents two weeks ago. On the way, we listened to the news on the radio for the senate vote on the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell!"

When we got home, I took a nap for an hour or so, and then it was time to leave for Dan's parent's Christmas party! We arrived a little after 6, and Lau came shortly after that! Re arrived some time around 8:30. We hung out, talked, and had a fun time.

One of the people at the party brought this dice game, Left, Right, Center, which I had never heard of before.... it was a cool game. I played two rounds, but lost, so I gave up!

Dan kept playing, and on the last round he won... so he made his money back, plus $15!

We left around midnight, and we got home, and got ready for bed! It was a loooong day! Time for bed! Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
