"lunch with joey and re" or "ireland"

Hey Journal!

This morning we got up at about 9:00 and were supposed to go out for Breakfast to Maureen's Kitchen with Julio. Unfortunately, late last night, he told me that he wasn't feeling well, so we called it off.

We wanted to get out and have a nice day. We started by going to a garage sale that Dan's mom was selling some items at. It was really cold out, so we checked it out, and stayed for a short while, but then left!

Speaking of cold.. WHAT THE HECK!! It was so unbelievably nice and warm on Thursday night, and last night was freezing, and so was today! This weather is unacceptable, and every single year I get more and more fed up with it. I want to live somewhere where I can wear short sleeve t-shirts all year long! Somewhere where there are nice blue skies in February, March, and April! I can't take grey skies, dead trees, and frigid temperatures anymore!!!! :(

So, after that we went for a quick walk around the Walt Whitman Mall, and then over to our mall to pick up Re and do a little shopping for her. She was on a mission to get a new coat, and jeans. We went to some stores, and then we met up with Joey around 2:00. Re finished up and purchased a coat, and then we went to the Apple store.

After that, we went for lunch at Houlihan's. Joey had never been to Houlihan's before. I got the chicken parm, which I have gotten before, but it was soooo much better today. It was cooked perfectly, and tasted so great! I was really happy.

We had a nice lunch and a fun time! After that, we went over to HomeGoods and looked around.

We perused the goods, and sat on the furniture. What a strange store. They sell some things that could be nice in a home... but they also have so much stuff that 's broken and destroyed. Very odd.

It was raining all afternoon and was pretty miserable. After HomeGoods, we dropped Joey off at his car, and then Re at her house.

We came home and wanted to relax a little, so we started to watch Song of the South on the projector. Dan hadn't seen it from the beginning, so we started it over. We got about halfway through, but then Dan got really tired, so we took a break. I went online and had the urge to do a random webcam session, (we haven't done that in more than a year!) and it wasn't going too well. Lots of randoms, but noone normal who wanted to talk.

Then, we randomly connected to someone from Ireland who seemed really nice, but just as we started talking, he disappeared! We didn't think he had purposely hit Next, so we figured maybe we would get re-connected again! (That happens a lot.) We did re-connect, and then he disappeared again, so we figured he hated us. I decided this was going nowhere, so I had to break out the Karen mask. The Karen mask is the only way to webcam, it either pisses people off or makes them laugh. I went through a bunch of people, and then all of a sudden we landed back on our Irish friend! He wasn't paying attention... in fact, he was pacing back and forth and biting his nails... so I decided to dance around with the Karen mask until he looked! When he finally saw us, he loved it! Then we started talking again, and he said that last time it froze on him, and wouldn't let him type to us anymore! Weird! Well, this time it happened to US! UGH! And he was gone again! This time, however, we had told eachother our names and we knew what town he was from, and so I was able to find him! We added eachother on Skype and Skyped for almost two hours!

At about 11:00, we went out to Chili's to meet up with Justin who was visiting from Florida. We thought that it was him and Tiffany, but it turned out that she didn't come. He was there with his cousin, and we had a few drinks and hung out for a while.

It was POURING raining outside the whole time and there was a ton of lightning and thunder! it was wild! The TVs in the bar had DirecTV and they were knocked out. It was insane!

We were there for a while, and left at about 1am. We just got home, and I took a shower, and now I hafta get to bed! I can't keep my eyes open anymore! AHHH! :P

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
