"breakfast AND lunch with santa"

Hey Journal!

This morning, I got up around 8:30 and Dan and I got ready for our annual Breakfast and Lunch with Santa at the golf course! We got there a little before 10, and we had some food to eat, and then set up to take the pictures of the kiddies.

This year, for the breakfast, the part of Santa was played by Megan and Kelly's dad! He did a GREAT job! They said he had been practicing all weekend! He had the perfect "Ho Ho Ho's" and he really talked to the kids, and they all loved it!

We took the pictures, and then before you know it, it was time for Santa to head out! Between the seatings, Dan and I went down to the office and we printed all of the pictures from Round 1. We printed up the cards, and then got them ready to mail out.

Before Lunch started, we regrouped upstairs, and set up a little roped off area so that the kids didn't all crowd around Santa while we were trying to take pictures. Also, we wanted to try to make it clear that the kids should line up somewhere instead of all attacking at once!

Then we put the random archway that had been left from the wedding yesterday out on the front porch for everyone to walk under as they arrived! It was amazing!!

Fred was Santa for the lunch crowd, and it went very well! As soon as we were done, we went downstairs, got all those pictures ready, and then we headed home at about 3:00.

Also, in between the seatings, we took a big group photo in front of the tree! First, it was just Meghan and Kelly... then I popped into their picture, then Lauren got in it, and then one by one people kept getting added until almost everyone was in it! It was amazing!

When we got home, I worked on getting the pictures put up on Facebook, and also doing some photoshopping of a picture of Rich and Kathleen sitting seductively on a beach!

Then, Dan and I headed out to the mall, and we took a walk around. We had a $10 free coupon for American Eagle, so I got a pair of underwear and it came to only $2.50. Nice! After that, we went to Old Navy, and I purchased a shirt.

We stopped at Trader Joe's before heading home, and I got home dunker cookies, and some Penne Arribiata which I ate for dinner when I got home!

I just took a shower, and now it's time for bed!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
