"sore throat?" or "slides scanned"

Hey Journal!

Ugh! This morning I woke up around 8:30, and could feel a little scratch in my throat! I was NOT happy at all! I thought it was going to go away after I had a drink, but it only got worse.

I headed off to the bank to deposit a check for Steve, and then I went to work. As the day went on, my throat started to feel weirder, and I was starting to get a runny nose! I think I may also have a little fever! Just what I need! And I don't want this to ruin our Toronto plans this weekend!

Work was pretty normal today, lots going on, but as soon as I got home, I took two emergen-c's and some cold medicine! I took a shower before Dan got home, and then when he arrived, we went over to show my Grandma the slides. They came out really nicely, and she enjoyed them. Now we just have to work on getting the rest of them scanned!

We had dinner over there, my Grandma made chicken, potatoes, corn, and my mom made Stove Top! It was really good.

We got home around 8:30 and I got ready for bed as quickly as possible. I took more emergen-c, had more cough medicine, and now I am going to bed so that I can feel 100% better in the morning! This IS going to be a 24 hour cold!
