Hey Journal!

This morning we woke up at the Holiday Inn in Cardiff Bay and we went downstairs for the continental breakfast. I got some eggs and sausage, but the eggs tasted really funky, and the sausage wasn't too great either. Instead, I had a bowl of cereal. I guess you can't go wrong with that! The orange juice tasted weird, too... so I went with apple!

When we were done eating, we went back up to our room and packed up. We headed out, and off to our next destination. We didn't know where that would be, but we looked up to see if there were any castles nearby. Something called Warwick Castle wasn't too far away, so we headed in that direction.

When we arrived, there was a �6 parking fee, (over $9) and the castle wasn't really a castle, it was more of an amusement park! It was ridiculous! The tickets were over $80! We decided not to go in, so we headed out of the parking area and towards the gate. We told them we decided not to stay, and they let us out without paying for parking! Woo!

Then we went to Stratford upon Avon which was about 15 minutes south of where we were. We went to Anne Hathaway's Cottage and took the tour there. It was pretty small, and a quick tour, but it was interesting.

Next, we were hungry, and went for some lunch. We found a place called Toby Carvery on the side of the road, and it was AMAZING. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated, and then we got up to get the food from a little buffet. I got turkey, pork, and beef, and then piled all sorts of vegetables on top! I had mashed potatoes, potatoes, broccoli, carrots, stuffing, and yorkshire pudding. :P It was some meal! The plate was overflowing!

I think it may be one of the best meals we've had on the trip, and possibly the best.

After that we headed towards Witney, and decided to stay there for two nights before heading to London. We got to the Corncroft Guest house at about 6:00 and we checked in and I took a shower. Then we went down to the Buttercross. We had a couple of drinks at The Hollybush, and then relocated to a new pub which is right in the town. It was really nice, really big, and the drinks were nice and cheap!

We had a good time there, and headed back around 11:00. Now we're off to bed! Going to Oxford tomorrow!
