"bunch with julio" or "carwash redo" or "spaghetti dinner"

Hey Journal!

This morning, Dan and I planned to sleep nice and late... and although we got to sleep later than most days, I could have slept a lot longer! We woke up around 10:15 when Julio called to see if we wanted to go out for brunch.

We got ready, and he came to pick us up! We had an adventure figuring out where to go. First, we went to the Professor's Diner, but when we arrived, Julio said he thought we were going to Maureen's Kitchen, which made us all contemplate where we really wanted to go. Dan was in the mood for their food today, so we drove over there. When we arrived, the wait was over an hour long, so we decided not to stay. (Not to mention, I'm not fond of doing Maureen any favors since she doesn't accept credit cards!)

So, in the end, we decided to go to Cheesecake Factory and get brunch there. However, once we arrived, we looked over the menu, and all three of us decided that we wanted lunch anyway!

I was kinda interested in getting their breakfast food, since I've never had it before... but in the end I settled on the Chicken and Biscuits. I think it was a good choice because I saw a bunch of breakfast plates come out of the kitchen, and while almost all of them looked amazing, the one that I was leaning towards was eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and when I saw them bring it out for someone else, it looked a little blah. So, I was happy with my decision.

Breakfast was good, and as always, it was a fun time with Julio!

After that, he dropped us back off at home, and then headed to a family party.

Dan and I hung out for a while and I cleaned the bathroom, and watched Phineas and Ferb.

At about 3:00, we went to bring Dan's car back to Touch of Ass so that they could remedy the unclean parts of the car.

The manager apologized that the car wasn't cleaned properly the first time, and he put it through the entire car wash again. This time, we got the super-duper deluxe wash! Woo Hoo! They did the wax, and the teflon coating (whatever that is!) Niceeee!

The manager was great, and it was no problem at all... the only thing we were still a little disappointed in was that, even though almost everything was corrected, there were still a FEW spots that they didn't even bother to clean. The rearview mirror was all dirty! I think the problem was that we got the SAME guy, and I guess he's just not good at his job! What are the chances that we'd get the same cleaner guy.... and they had so many guys there today!

So, after that was all done, we headed over for spaghetti dinner. We arrived a little before 4, and promptly at 4 the dinner was ready. The spaghetti was really good, and there was sausage to go along with it, although i only had one piece. I don't really like that skinny sausage that much.

After we ate, we watched some Olympics. Everyone was sitting around the TV watching the Vollyball. Then we went back to the Opening Ceremony and watched Mr. Bean, and the Queen!

We came home shortly after that and we got our Target coupons. We went there, and stocked up on some necessities. We really needed to get batteries for the TV remote because it kept dying on us. We have been squeezing the last drop of power out of them for over a month now...so it was definitely time. The batteries came up the wrong price... they were supposed to be 3.99, but they came up 5.04, but they made the adjustment. :)

We also had a coupon for $1 off Target Fruit Snacks! Great deal... big box for only .89!

So, when we got home, we watched some TV, I took a shower, and now's LATE, and I have to get to sleep!

Tomorrow at work is going to be super quiet! We're completely closed, and Dan's Dad isn't going to be in. It'll just be me and Steve!
