"carnival breeze day 7: day at sea"

Hey Journal!

So, today was only our second sea day of the entire trip and it's day 7! Wow! I really love the itinerary of this cruise... it's been so perfect! This morning, we got up at about 10:30 and got ready to go to the Scavenger Hunt at 11. We met at the Ocean View Bar and got the list. We only had 20 minutes to complete it, but we only got 12 points. The person in the lead had 28, so Dan and I left...so we don't know who wound up winning.

Then we went to the Marketplace and got some breakfast. I had Corn Flakes, eggs, and ham. We ate there and then went to take a walk around the ship. We decided to go in the pool so we headed back to the room, put on some sunscreen, and then went back up to the pool. My mom was out there and we said hi to her and then went in the pool with her.

They were doing an ice sculpting demonstration and then had the Miss Carnival Breeze competition. We watch from the pool. There was some annoying kid in the pool who kept jumping in and splashing, and then all of a sudden he just grabbed my head for no reason at all. He was a little shit. lol I have no idea what he was doing.

After we got out of the pool, we dried off quickly and then went to the towel folding class at 2:00! We made a seal, an elephant, and a dog! They came out good! I'm very good at towel animals! haha

Next, at 2:30, we went to see "The Game of Love" in the Ovation Theater. Basically, The Newlywed Game. It was fun, the people that got picked were good! Before the show started, I hurried back to the room to get changed because I didn't like sitting in my wet bathing suit!

We had hamburgers for lunch (yes, again) and then we wandered around the ship aimlessly again.

At about 4:30, Dan went to go watch the sun set and I went off on my own.

I went to the gym and did .5 miles on the elliptical and 1 mile on the treadmill. I think we have been doing MORE walking than that in general on the ship every day. We really zig zag all around and go from floor to floor, up and down the stairs, and back. It's crazy!

When I was done with the gym, I did a few laps around decks 4, 5, and 10. Then, I was up on 11 calling Dan to see if he was back in the room when he appeared there!

Then we headed back to the room and took a shower before dinner. Tonight was the second Elegant Night of the trip and so we got all dressed up again!

We went to Dan's parents room for a little pre-dinner party and then we went to dinner! 8:15, of course. I had chicken and flat iron steak tonight and we got a picture with all three of our waiters. The maitre'd sang "Moves Like Jagger," and I'm sure you can guess how that was!

After dinner we came back to the room and I got changed. My mom went to bed, she was tired. Dan went to hang out at the bar and I did my own thing. I watched part of a movie on the Lido deck and sat there for about about an hour. It was a stupid Tom Cruise movie, but I was into it, and interested to see what happened. Unfortunately, there was a lot of wind and I was getting chilly, so I left. I went to go see if I could find Dan.

I took an elevator and a boy and some random girls were in there when it came. They were taking video of eachother and said something random to me.

I found Dan on Deck 10 getting some ice cream, and we did a walk around the ship. When we were walking, we passed them again, and he called me "the guy from the elevator."

Then Dan and I got our Deck of cards and played a couple of games in the Marketplace. We played Higher or Lower and I also tried to make a house of cards but it wasn't working so well with the ship's movement!

Then, the people from the elevator and a group of their friends came by to get ice cream and started talking to us again. They were really young, but just being friendly. A couple of them played higher or lower with us a couple of times. In fact, one of them was Tiny Dancer. The one from the elevator asked me my name, so I asked him his. He's Kyle. Dan came up with a new nickname for him (since he previously didn't have one...) it's "Hanger." There's a funny reason behind it, but I'll save the explanation. They were all really nice though.

They sat at a table nearby and made random conversation every now and then. When we left there, we went back to the room and I got my phone to make another tour of the ship. I felt like the first one I did was a little weird, and I needed to redo it!

I went down the elevators and ran into Kyle again! We said Hi but I kept going because I was doing my tour. THEN, after passing through the casino, some weird lady was calling me... she kept trying to get my attention... and I turned around and shook my head NO and kept walking! I have no idea what she wanted, but I wanted nothing to do with her, especially because I was doing my tour and I didn't want to have to stop videoing!

I have no idea what she wanted. Its a little frustrating now not knowing, but at the time I was busy and kinda scared by her!

So anyway, I continued my tour and as I went through the marketplace, I passed KYLE again! This time I stopped recording because I felt weird recording as I passed him, and this time he high-fived me as we passed eachother!

Then I came back to the room and finished my little tour and then went for one last walk around. I saw Dan's parents who gave me their confirmation number to text to Linda to check us in for our flight (ahhhhh I don't wanna talk about going home!) and I saw Kyle one more time! He was with different people this time and told them, "I see this guy everywhere!") I guess it's true.

Anyway, now we are going to bed! So tired! Tomorrow is our last day, and another day at sea! I am so not ready to go home! Hopefully it'll be a fun day!
