"craving change? a passing phase?"

Hey Journal!

This morning I got up for work before my alarm went off! I'm not sure if it's because I wasn't tired or because I really had to pee, but either way, once I was up I didn't feel like I could fall back to sleep.

I think it did hit me a little later in the afternoon, though. I felt like my face was hot and that feeling you get when you're overtired.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day outside again today but I was in the office all day long. Even though I was stuck in the gym all day yesterday I think I got to enjoy more of the nice day because I took a few breaks to go outside and also got some fresh air!

Work was pretty slow today but I hadda lot to catch up on from yesterday. Dan's dad had taken the day off to go fishing and Steve just didn't come in so I had the place to myself. It was good because I needed the time to get things done!

I had a lot of personal things to get done as well today but I didn't get to as much as I would have liked!

I left work at 4:30 and headed home. My mom came over after work because she wanted me to help her to enroll in her company's new healthcare program. She stopped at Main Street Pizza to get some pies for us and as soon as Dan got home we ate!

When we were done, Dan went to the gym and I helped my mom pick out her new plan.

I was supposed to get my replacement credit card today via UPS but it wasn't here waiting for me when I got home! I was concerned about that so I called Bank of America again and the woman said that no UPS shipment had been scheduled! What the heck!? Yesterday morning I had called and the man specifically said he would have it sent by UPS and that it would arrive today! Sheesh!

The woman I spoke to tonight seemed more competent anyway and she assured me that she will place the order but it won't come until Friday now! Well, I guess that's better than waiting until next week. We have so many bills to pay and things to buy right now and I don't want to miss out on any points!

When my mom and I were finished with her health insurance thing, I took a shower and then when Dan got home, he showered up.

We had a few TV shows to catch up on... we watched last night's SHIELD and then The Flash! There was no new episode of The Middle on tonight which I was kinda happy about. I love the show but having one less show to watch, no matter what it is, right now is amazing!

I had to order ANOTHER suit for Dan for the wedding because the vest we ordered didn't fit properly and NOW they have an even better coupon code at Macy's! I ordered the entire thing and hopefully it will arrive in time!

Now it's off to bed. You know, work today was really weird...it wasn't stressful or anything but I feel like I'm in a funk. I had a great time working the election yesterday and, not that I would want to do that every day, nor is it even a possibility, but I just feel like I miss that KIND of job. The job where there are a bunch of people working on a team and you do the same job as several other people. It's kinda like when I worked at the library... there was that laid back feeling. Maybe that's just government jobs... you get good hours, good benefits, and you don't really do all that much!I I just think sometimes if I could find a job that paid well and had that kind of atmosphere I would be happier... but then again, I might not be!
