long weekend comes to a close

Hey Journal!

I slept until about 10:00 this morning and then we watched some more Teen Wolf. After that we would outside to hook up the new (old) decorations we have for our front lawn. Dan's dad had dropped off some of those old-school plastic snowman/santa things on our porch, so we wanted to see how they looked

We went down to the basement to get some wires and extension cords to hook them up. When we first moved in we stocked up on Christmas extension cords and outlet things that we never had used but we had them in a box downstairs so that really came in handy.

We hooked everything up and they actually look really good! We put them on the right side where we had previously had nothing. It worked out perfectly because that area was bare before and needed something to fill it in!

After that, I came inside and cleaned up a little in preparation for our decorating. Dan stayed outside and raked the leaves.

When he came in around 3:00, we watched some more shows and then, at about 4:30, we had to go out to the mall to exchange a shirt that Dan had just purchased the other day. He got a medium but, when we got home, he realized he should have gotten a large.

At the store, they said he couldn't exchange it because it was a "Final Sale!" What BS! They had another one of the same exact shirt in his size...so it made absolutely no difference. I could have understood it if he wanted to get a different item but he wanted the EXACT same shirt just in a different size. Either way, the store will be left with one of that shirt. The girl wouldn't do it, but Dan talked to the manager who said it was okay!

When we got home, we watched one more episode of Teen Wolf and then I took a shower and Dan watched something on TV.

I paid some bills on the computer, heated up a frozen pizza for dinner, and then at about 9:20 we watched tonight's Secrets and Lies!

Now we're off to bed. Time to get ready for another week of work but at least we have DISNEY to look forward to next weekend!
