breakfast and lunch with santa

Hey Journal!

Well, I'm not feeling so well. I woke up in the middle of the night with a slight sore throat and it seems to have gotten worse this morning.

We got up at 9:00 to get ready to go to work for Breakfast with Santa. It seemed like a good idea to get back on Saturday night and then go to work the next morning when I planned the trip home but it really was a hassle. I just wanted to sleep and recover from Disney!

Anyway, we got up and got dressed and headed to work. The first seating was at 9:00 and Santa arrived at 10:30. Things were pretty orderly and we got all the photos and headed downstairs. We picked the best ones for each group and then I uploaded them to Snapfish.

We had a little break in between so we went to Target to get some more photo cards. I had gotten a bunch on clearance last year but I needed some that were portrait instead of landscape. We got those and then we headed over to Costco to get some stuff.

We stocked up on things we needed at home and wound up getting lots of frozen items. When we got back to work, we put the frozen stuff in the walk-in while we got ready for round 2!

Santa arrived again and we went to work snapping pictures and getting the photos ready.

We came back down to the office and I tried to get some other work done, too. I wanted to make the transition back to work a little less painful tomorrow so I figured I'd get a few random things done and out of the way.

We selected the second set of pictures and ordered them for pickup at CVS.

After that, we headed home and Dan watched the second episode of Stranger Things.

After that we caught up on some of our other shows. We watched SHIELD, The Middle, The Real O'Neals, and one of the Great American Baking Show. Actually, it was the first half of the first episode.

Now we're going to fit in one more episode of Stranger Things before ewe get to bed!
