"three parks, one day" or "saying farewell to WDW"

Hey Journal!

Well, today was officially our last day of park-hopping! We actually have one more ticket left for tomorrow but we decided that we've done everything we needed to do and that we're just going to take it easy tomorrow. That also means we get one more ticket to carry over until our next visit.

We got up this morning at about 9:00 and went down to Coconino to get some breakfast. We originally planned to go to the Pepper Market it once we got there the food wasn't all that appetizing. We decided to skip it and just get the cereal and muffins instead!

Once we were ready to hit the park, we went to the bus stop and caught the bus to Animal Kingdom. We had a few things we wanted to do there. First, we went over to Expedition Everest and rode the single rider line. Then, we used our FastPasses to ride it again. Our second stop was It's Tough to Be a Bug!

We said goodbye to Animal Kingdom and headed over to Magic Kingdom! We walked around a bit and then rode the Journey of the Little Mermaid because the wait was really short. We were going to do the PeopleMover one last time but it was down when we went by and they said it would be down for another hour or so.

We left Magic Kingdom and said farewell to the castle! It's always sad looking down Main Street USA for the last time of the trip!

Oh, and I forgot to mention that today was super cold out. The rest of the trip the weather was great and on a few nights it got a little cooler, but nothing like this. Today was unbearable even with long pants, a long shirt, and a hoodie on top! We really had to try to stay in the sun and even then the wind made it cold!

We took the Monorail over to the Contemporary and the got off to see about having lunch there. We didn't really like the selections so we decided tote back on the Monorail and got to the TTC.

THere, we took another Monorail to Epcot!

We arrived and headed right to The Land for lunch. I got the pork and it was really good. I got mashed potatoes and rice with it this time. Sunshine Seasons for the win!

We rode Living with the Land, great as always, and then we headed to Spaceship Earth to use our FPs.

We walked a round the Wold Showcase and stopped at Mexico to ride the Gran Fiesta Tour and then to Italy to see La Befana! It was OUR Befana! I love her! We watched her show and then got a great picture with her. During her story some young girl yellowed out "you're not Santa Claus!" And then this weird woman next to me who was NOT with them, turned to the little girl and yelled "RUDE" right in her face! It was so weird!

Then, we headed around and went to Journey Into Imagination! After that we watched the three Pixar shorts in the theater that used to house Honey I Shrunk the Audience!

Finally, we stopped at the American Adventure, watched the show at 6:45 and then went to the front of the park to ride Spaceship Earth one last time. Best ride ever. It's so amazing and I love it so much. It is the highlight of my trip.

Our original plan was to watch Illuminations tonight but it was so cold and windy that we decided to come back and call it a night.

We went to the Coconino Cove when we got back and Dan got some drinks and I had some milk and cookies! It was great. We watched a Christmas movie on the TV and then we headed to the lobby to get our passes for the Magical Express.

For some reason they didn't have our flight listed so we needed to give them that info and then they printed us passes.

Now we're back at the room and I'm gonna try area shower before we pack up our suitcase! Oh no! I can't believe it's time to go home already but we've had a great week and I'm ready to go home.
