March 03, 2017 - 11:58 p.m. Hey Journal! Happy Friday... Unfortunately, Dan isn't feeling so well. He had a stomach ache when he got home from work and he thinks that something he ate didn't really agree with him. Work today for me was pretty normal -- nothing too crazy. I got in at the usual time, did a lot of office stuff, and sent out the email about our tentative opening date! We got our property tax refund from the town today... and that's been a LONG time coming! It's a refund for having been overassessed for years, so it'll be nice to put that money to good use around the golf course. Anyway, we made plans to go to dinner tonight with Lau and Re. We were going to go to Lotus Esat for some chinese food but then we decided to go to Friendly's instead! Dan got home from work not feeling well and he said he had actually thrown up once in the bathroom at work. When he got home, he threw up again...and then decided he was not going to come out to dinner. He said that whatever he had for lunch didn't agree with him. It must have been some food poisoning or something like that!
I got the grilled cheese and of course, I filled Lau in on all the details of my lingering pain. We had a very odd conversation about the female anatomy and Lau told us the story of her first womanly cycle, so to speak. Family-friendly Friendly's conversation... After we were done eating we went to Target and walked around. Lau dropped me back off at home and when I got in, Dan said he was feeling a bit better. He was downstairs watching TV and had eaten a soup for dinner. We watched another show and now it's time to get to bed! Until tomorrow... Goodnight. :)
