"fire cream" or "milky antidote"

Hey Journal!

This morning I woke up with less pain than last night but it was still there. I did some more of the stretches Dan showed me online yesterday and I think they are helpful. I'm really starting to think that nerve got messed up somehow and these stretches are helping get it back into place.

I woke up around 10:30 and after the few stretches we decided to watch some TV. We watched the first of our saved-up Walking Deads.

For breakfast we went out to McDonald's, and then we went over to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to return that ridiculous crap that I had gotten yesterday to clean the toilet bowl! What a scam. There was no way I was not bringing it back -- it was a total scam!

Next we went to Target, had a return to do there, too... and then we went to CVS on the way home to get Capsaicin cream. Dan read something online that said it may help with the type of pain I have so I figured it would be worth giving it a try. I was going to get it a Target, but they didn't have any at Commack, and we didn't feel like going all the way to another one.

When we got home, I put the capsaicin cream on. I didn't put it directly on my balls -- I just put it on the upper though and close to the crux. It felt good at first, and eventually changed to a bit of a warm tingle. We watched an episode of Walking Dead and, at times, it was a little uncomfortable.

After the episode, we decided to make dinner. We made one of the Blue Apron meals that arrived yesterday... the Penne Arrabiata! It wa sa lot of work to make, and we had so many dishes to wash after, but it did come out good.

When we were done eating, my loins were ON FIRE. The discomfort and pain from the cream was more than I'd ever had with my regular paiN! it was insane! I decided to take my bath/shower a little earlier than I had planned to wash off the cream

BAD IDEA!

First, I showered and soaped up the area to wash it away before the bath. I started to fill up the tub and the water wasn't even that hot. It was like luke-warm. I sat down in the tub and it was like the fire sensation multiplied by 1000! it was insane! I screamed in pain and Dan came running. It was no joke. It was so intense.

Somehow -- don't ask me how -- Dan had seen an article online about this yesterday and it said that if it burns too much, you should put MILK on it to make it stop. I'm sure glad he knew this... as random as it was... he ran downstairs and got milk and poured it all over my you-know-where. What a ridiculous scene.

It took a little while to completely calm down but almost immediately the intense burning went away.

I had to postpone my shower now, since I couldn't put more water on it.... so we watched another episode of Walking Dead.

Finally, around 8:00, I thought it might be safe to go back in. I tried wetting the area and Dan was on standby with the milk. It didn't hurt, so I was okay. I filled up the tub and went for it.

So, I did my bath/shower routine and now we're gonna watch tonight's Homeland and then get to sleep!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
