Hey Journal!

So today was a mixed bag for the pain. It hurt a bit throughout the day but I had some periods with no pain at all. It was not as good as yesterday and right now I have some more pain. I tried doing my stretches a lot today, tried to stand up for a good amount of time, and I did everything else I usually so.

I just want this to go away. Maybe my acupuncture tomorrow will help some more. Please!

So, the big news today is the reward I was given -- possibly incorrectly. This afternoon I opened my email to find that I had earned a $100 reward certificate to a large electronics store! I was very pleased and was already thinking of how to spend me bonus money!

I printed my certificate which boldly stated "$100 Reward Certificate for MY NAME." Well, my name was inserted there.... So, it was for me. I was a little confused because I didn't know what I had done to earn this reward, but who am I to question such things.

Remember, it was sent to MY email address and had MY FULL NAME printed on its face.

This evening, Dan and I went to the store to redeem my reward. That was a hassle in itself because we didn't know what to buy. We searched around for something to get and wound up settling on a few things we wanted and a few things we thought would be a good way to spend the rest.

We went up to the register, presented the certificate, and we were told we ALSO had an additional $75 certificate!!!! Insane. We used only the $100. That's all the stuff we had picked out anyway and the store was closed by the time we checked out.

AS we were driving home, Dan looked at the receipt and it said "CAROLYN, Thanks for being a rewards member!"

I felt so bad. I don't know -- I mean there was clearly an administrative error somewhere -- but I got a certificate meant for Carolyn and it was sent to MY e-mail address with MY name on it. I don't understand how this happened -- and I know it wasn't really mine -- but I just really feel bad that Carolyn will not get the benefit she rightfully deserves!!

I feel terrible. Linda says I shouldn't. She says it was sent to me so it's mine. She said it has my name on it, so it's mine. She said if Carolyn has a problem with it, she will tell them to investigate and they'll find that they made a mistake. But my heart goes out to Carolyn. I feel like she may never know and she may miss out on a benefit she earned. I am beside myself.

Alas, the morning started with my getting up and going to work. It was a quiet day in the office and we made the decision that we are definitely opening on Saturday!

For lunch I ordered one of the specials of the week -- the pork sandwich! It was really really good. I ate it while standing up at the bar and this may very well be one of my last meals upstairs until next winter! Ugh! The sadness that is the season. Anyway, the sandwich was this really thick slices of pork on a soft bun.

In the afternoon I finished up what I had to do and left at 4:00. I got home and then when Dan got home we went on a walk since it was SUCH a nice day outside. I still wore a jacket but it was the best weather evening we've had in a while!

I really wanted to go on the walk to help my leg but now it's hurting again so did it even help at all!? Ugh!

When we got back I took my bath/shower and then, as you know, we went out to Best Buy. When we got home we watched The Flash but we fast forwarded through most of it because this was a special crossover episode. Nothing that actual has to do with the storyline happens during these crossover episodes AND it was a ridiculous musical one where they sang and did all sorts of weird stuff!

We watched some Judge Judy before bed and now we're off to sleep!
