"los cailles de smithtown" or "bob from alaska"

Hey Journal!!

Tonight must be a "quick one" as a result of my lack of energy due to today's events!!

I woke up and went to work, working from 9-5. The highlights: Debbie tried to kill us by raising the room's temperature to crazy heights. I walked into a wall in the office after feeling really really dizzy. No explanation has been arrived at. Dan came, we worked on the Survey. End of work.

Meanwhile, to make a long story short.. Dr. Flynn booked a teetime at the golf course for Tuesday! How amazing is that! I'll elaborate tomorrow, or something. (and for those of you who don't know....Dr. Flynn was my 11th grade math teacher!)

Then I came home and ate dinner. I revived a "Garage Door Safety Kit" in the mail, which was mildly amusing.

Then I went over Dan's where we attempted to watch a movie which was in another language, and we didn't know beforehand, and we still don't know what language it was.

We then went to pick up Liz, and have a party-ful evening. We went to Wick's Farm and went on the "Spooky Hollow" walk, it was pretty good, not really long enough, but not so bad. Then we decided to go on the Haunted Hayride. It, too, was a bit lacking, but it was fun and Halloween comes but once a year so why not spend a little money and do something seasonal.

We also got these cool cool cool magnetic, light-up, necklace things, which were amusing, and all-together fun and exciting.

Next we went to Starbucks, I got a Tall Hot Chocolate, and we walked the streets of Smithtown... Well, only Main St. We walked down, and back, then to the New 7-11. We went to the train station, and I put a penny on the railroad tracks. We waited and a train came in about 20 mins! It was so cool because my penny got flattened, and it has this cool look to it!! YEAH MAN!! And this to prove that Pete and Pete was WRONG when they said it would derail the train!

So we walked some more, had some fun times, and even encountered a lady walking her dog who was entranced by the aforementioned necklace things. She was interested because she is looking for a way to light up her dog at night. She explained that she had tried the glow-necklace thingy's (which she had in her hand) but they just didn't do the job. Wow.

So we went back to the car eventually, took a drive around town, and of course that included a trip to everyone's favorite mental hospital. Kings Park!!

Liz then received a call from her sister, so we went back to Liz's house. We were gonna carve pumpkins.. (at 1am, mind you) but we got sidetracked because I hooked up their Optimum Online. They got it a while ago, but were not sure how to connect it all up.. So I set up the thing, as well as fix the TV in her mom's room, which until tonight was receiving only some crazy infomercial!! Ah, how I love it.

I must mention the absolute crazy and amazing Doorknocker that we located on top of the bookcase in Liz's mom's bedroom. It's an old Halloween thing, that was hidden up there because John is extremely afraid of it! It's soo random! It plays a creepy tune, and says "WELCOME," and has glowing red eyes! It's so funny! And now Liz's sister set that as her phone ring, so they can freak him out! Meanwhile.. the Doorknocker's name is Bob.. and he's from Alaska.

So now I am home, and tomorrow the Six Flags adventure has been cancelled due to lack of interest and the rain which may be coming, so we're gonna sleep late and then go get pumpkins and carve them! I can't wait...Sounds like a blast! :)

That's all for tonight.. So much for a quick one, the energy was just flowing...

Alrighty...

Goodnight. :)
