"wynona wins" or "thanksgiving break is here"

Today was extremely fun.

I would like to start off by saying that I just turned the TV on, and there was a commercial on.. I thought it was the most brilliant statement ever made in a television commercial.. and this is it....

"Wouldn't it be great if life was like a parking meter? I could keep putting quarters in and live forever!"

Now, tell me that isn't a bold statement! So deep. PS, the commercial was for Life Insurance. I guess that's for when you forget to put in a quarter while you're getting your hair done.

Anyway, I woke up around 11:00, and went online for a while trying to solve the problems of Fojin.com's mail system single handedly. It was a trying task, and I was unsuccessful until about 7:00 at night. Now 1/3 problems with the website are solved... two more to go!

So, I went to class, and my Women's History class started by our professor playing Aretha Franklin's "Respect" as everyone came into the room, and she proceeded to dance in the front of the room! LOL She's so crazy, and so enthusiastic.. You can't help but love it, even though you think it's a little crazy!

So anyway, we learned some stuff, and then ended the class with handing back papers, while trying to watch some DVD that had "bad words" every time she changed the scene.. so all I saw was the first 3 seconds of each scene, until she determined they cursed there, too, and FFed it to the next!

In my next class we listened to more mindless babble, and then left.

Finally, I had my Nazi Germany class, and guess what!!! The china lady is not yet back from Europe. Surprise, surprise! We watched the end of Europa, Europa, and then I went home.

I was happy to begin my Thanksgiving break, and went home and ate dinner. Dan came and picked me up to go put up some welcoming messages at Re's house, and then he went off to school.

I did some more website work, in which I finally got the mail server to cooperate with me, and then I talked to Jen B, who wanted to hang out while we waited for Kristen and Robby to come home! When Dan got out of class, we went to get Jen, and then over to his house to wait. We watched some random TV shows, and then He's a Lady at 10:00!!

OH MY GOD!! I was sooo happy. Donnell was a real idiot, so I was happy to see that he got 3rd place! He was always so cocky, and so mad when he didn't win. He did not deserve. Albert was the best looking girl, and he was also the second nicest of them all, so I am a little sad that he didn't win, but I am absolutely ecstatic that Dave/Wynona won!! Dave was, from the very beginning, the absolute nicest guy on the show! He was always so compassionate, and helpful to everyone else. He never wanted to hurt anyone, and NEVER bad mouthed ANYONE in his Journal things, while everyone else did, to some degree... Some more than others! He was always HELPING the others no matter what, and he was no great with his wife when he got that Dude-pass with her!

Anyway, his speech at the end tonight was absolutely amazing. He worked on it so hard, and really cared about it, he was inspired, and just so heartfelt. Jen B was crying when he was saying it! He really captured everything, and he was so great... being so un-womanly as far as body-type, he really pulled it off, and he deserved to win the money! He really did!

Anyway, we then went to get Kristen and Robby! We collected Kristen, who was falling asleep before we came, but got her second wind after we got her. We went to 7-11 to get some slurps, and then decided to go out to the diner. Dan had taken his mom's car because he wanted to, and unfortunately the front headlight was out. A police man spotted us on the way out of 7-11 and pulled us over on Main street!! It was so crazy.. We pulled over, and Dan pulled out his suave moves to avoid ticketing, and we didn't get beaten for it. LOL He let us slide!

He asked, "Was this an accident, or is it just out?" after examining the front of the car... MEANWHILE...the car was in perfect condition, not a scratch at all, the light wasn't damaged in the slightest... WHAT kind of car accident would happen, to break the LIGHT BULB, but not damage ANY OTHER part of the car.. So weird.

Anyway, we continued on our way to the diner, where we passed ANOTHER police car, and THEY started to bust it, to come after us TOO!! Luckily for us, a bunch of cars came by, and then he turned back around and went the other way! Could you imagine being pulled over twice within 10 minutes!! Sheesh!

So we got to the diner, and it took a while to get our food, but it wasn't too bad because we had some time to talk and catch up on all the happenings.

After the diner, we had nothing to do, so we decided to go to Dan's and hang in the basement for a while. We discussed our excitement for WALK's Christmas tunes, and we watched some TV and played the Six Degrees movie game, or something like that. We stayed there for a while.

After that, Dan took us all home, and that was that.

It was such a fun and exciting night seeing Re and Robby, and hanging out and having fun and such! I can't believe it's Thanksgiving week already!

TONIGHT'S PICTURES

So, anyway, tomorrow is Dan and my mini-Thanksgiving, and also Re's wisdom tooth pulling!! I'm sure all will go well with that!

Anyway, that's all for tonight... Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
