Happy New Year, 2005

Hey Journal!!

Happy New Year!!!

Today I woke up at 1:30, which I considered to be quite a reasonable time for having only gone to bed at 5am! I got up and took a shower, ate some food, hung around the house, and put new windshield wiper fluid in my car.

We still had no plans for the evening, but it was me, Dan, and Re. We needed to come up with something.

I talked online to Mike who asked us if we wanted to go to the city, and Shawn who wanted us to go to a bar...but we just didn't wanna go anywhere really far away, and so we figured we might go to a random bar in Smithtown or something.

Kristen picked me up and we came over Dan's, where we played some Tennis game on XBox, and did other fun things. Dan's parent's friends came over, and they were crazy! One of them was Jimbo, the other was a lady from Germany! They drank at the bar, and then we had dinner. Steak for us, and they ate Lobster! Jimbo was insane with the lobster, he kept just...devouring it! It was insane! And he loved to yell, "RE!!" He told her she had to try lobster before 2 years were up. So weird! He was absolutely crrrrazy!

Anyway, the steak was super-yummy, and after dinner we came downstairs again where Dan and Re challenged Dan's dad and Jimbo to a game of Flip Cup! How great!

So anyway, after that..we decided just to stay in, and not go to the bar or anything. We were having a fun time here, and Dan and Re had already drank a bit.

We watched ABC and MTV for our New Year's Coverage.. but Re fell asleep about an hour before midnight!

It was exciting, however. We really enjoyed, and I thought it was a fun way to start off 2005!

After the ball dropped, Dan and I went to 7-11 to get some snacks, and Re decided to stay here and sleep. We got Ice Cream, and Chips, and Taco Bell! Came back here and ate it, and watched Office Space.

Now, It's about 4am, and we're watching the best movie of all.. Hook! How I love it! :)

Anyway, It's now officially 2005, and after 366 days, we must say farewell to 2004! It was a good year.. I will miss it. lol

Tomorrow morning is breakfast at Re's...11:30, and then I hope to have a fun filled day, because after all... "It's the first day."
