"boston fun" or "elton john"

Hey Journal!

I have a little time to update before I go to sleep tonight... we're waiting for Pizza to be delivered to our room! :)

So yes, today Dan and I came to BOSTON! We left my house at about 6:00, and headed out towards the Orient Point Ferry. We got there with time to spare, and we went and had breakfast at the little place they have there. I just got scrambled eggs, but they were yummy. Soon after, we drove onto the Ferry, and we read the newspaper, and I took a little nap on the way over. We arrived at New London, CT, and continued the journey!

We got to Boston at about 12:00ish, and we checked in at the hotel. For only $20 more, when we made the reservation online, we picked the Executive Suite room! How great is that. In order to get to the floor, you need to put your key card in the elevator before pressing the button. So exciting!

So anyway, the room is very nice, and has wireless internet and everything! And a nice view of the river!

We then headed out to the Museum of Science! We had a good time looking at the cool exhibits, and then we headed over to the Prudential Center and looked at all the stores and such. We walked quite a bit down many streets.. and then we ate dinner at Applebee's!

We passed by Cheers, and that was exciting.. I took another picture, of course, and In general I got a lot of good pictures!

After that, we came back here, and got ready for Elton John at the Fleet Center, aka TD BankNorth Garden. The show started at 8:00 and he started off singing his older songs, and then moved on to his new ones! It was very enjoyable though, and the seats were good, too. His last song was Crocodile Rock! My favorite of his songs... he played for 3 1/2 hours straight. So wild.

It was very fun! Afterwards, we planned to go to a club/bar over by Fenway Park, but we ran into some problems.. one being my attire, I accidentally forgot to bring my jeans..and shorts were not appropriate for the place.. and it was late anyway..so things just didn't work out! Ugh

Oh well.. we still had a great day, and tomorrow we plan to have some more fun here in Boston. Free breakfast also came with the room at the hotel.. so we have to be sure to experience that!

Alright.. gonna go get ready for our pizza!
