"duck tours" or "providence"

Hey Journal!

Last night I didn't get to post because I was extremely tired.. So let me fill you in!

We woke up at about 10:00, when the wake-up called went off at the hotel. It was so loud! lol We got semi-ready and went downstairs for the Free Continental Breakfast! It was good.. but the selection was a little limited. We both had cereal, it was good, and the orange juice was especially tasty!

Then we went back upstairs, and purchased tickets for the Boston Duck Tours online. We had a little problem with their crappy website, but then we got the tickets. We took showers, and then we got our stuff packed up. We put our belongings into the car, and checked out of the hotel, and hurried over to the Museum of Science! When we got there, we got on the first duck waiting to go. It was a purple one, and we though that we may have Major Groovy again. However, his duck is LAVENDER. So, our driver happened to be a crazy VIKING man going by the name of SVEN. It was hysterical.. he was soo soo funny.. Just wait until you see the pictures!

I will post them tomorrow, BTW. I haven't had a chance yet.

So, The duck tour was great...very fun, and we went on a little bit of a different route than last time. It was good.. got to see some different stuff.

We arrived back at the Mos shortly before 2, and ran back to the parking garage, to get the car out before the price changed at 2:00. So, we got to the window at like 1:50, and the guy puts the little ticket in, and it's coming up as 52.00 instead of the 36.00 it was supposed to be! So he knew it was wrong, and kept trying to fix it, but it would work.. so after about 10 cars were lined up to get out of the parking garage.. He just opened the gate and let us go! :) How great is that! For FREE!

So we decided to have lunch somewhere along the way on the way home, and Dan called a friend Casey, but she wasn't there, so he called her parents, and we went over their house. We stayed there for about 1 hour, and talked and such.. It was fun. Then we went over to Providence, and went to this really big mall. Dan wanted to meet up with his friend there, but that didn't happen.. and it's a long story not journal-worthy.

So..we ate dinner at a place called Fire and Ice, and it was pretty fun. You go up and pick out all the food you want, it's all uncooked.. and then you bring it over to the grill area, which is in the center, and they cook it up for you right there, then you take it back to your seat. Very enjoyable! :)

We had a great time there, and then we set back on our way home. We ran into this INTENSE thunder/lightening storm! It was sooo big, the lightning was wild, the biggest and closest lightning bolts I've ever seen! I talked to Kristen on the phone a little on the way home, and it took us a while (no traffic) but we arrived back here at about 12:00!

I got to bed by 1:00.. and now here I am!

I'll be back later with an update on today!

Adios for now! :)
