"mini-golf 06" or "private parts"

Hey Journal!

This morning we woke up at Dan's at about 10:30, and everyone was just getting up and stirring around.

We watched some television and got ourselves ready, and then went to the Candlelight Diner for breakfast! I got "Pancakes a la Candlelight!" It was yummy! Three Chocolate Chip pancakes with two eggs and bacon. Mmmm. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the monstrous sausage!

We had a very fun breakfast, and after that we all went back home to regroup and shower, before continuing the day's adventures! Re picked me up at 1:40 and we headed back over to the diner parking lot to reconvene with Dan, Robby, and Lau.

We then carpooled to the Heartland Mini-Golf place in Deer Park. It was the first time I had ever mini-golfed there... we had tried once before, but it was too crowded, the wait was wayyy too long!

We stopped along the way to take several pictures! They are all really good group shots! We had to try to re-create "the spot" from Castle golf.. cause we hadn't gone this year!

There was this family behind us, and the kids were crazy. They would be waiting behind us at EVERY hole, even though it was like..impossible for them to finish their hole that fast! They definitely had ADD or something, the like chased the ball and didn't wait for the others to finish. It was wild.

After that we went to 7-11, and then took a little stroll around Target, then Macy's, and Michael's. In Michael's, we looked at all the crafts, and then the Christmas section, and had fun with the little Christmas village section, the magnetic people, and then some Halloween decorations! We then bid farewell to Lau, because she was meeting a friend!

We then went to Panera, and had some lunch... then it was time to say goodbye to Robby! He's headed back to school now!

So...Dan and I went back to his house and took a nap for a while, and then when we woke up, we went out and got some ice cream at Waldbaum's, and rented the movie Private Parts from Blockbuster.

We watched the movie, and I really enjoyed it! I wished it kept going at the end, I wanted to see more! I thought it was a pretty entertaining depiction of Howard's career. It was cool.

After that we departed and I came home! Now I must get to bed! YAY for another day off from work tomorrow!!
