"no borat" or "300"

Hey Journal!

Today was a fun and crazy day! I went to work at the usual time, and the day went by pretty fast. In the morning I did some brochures, in the afternoon I typed up a letter that we're getting ready to send out. For lunch I went to the bank to deposit my check and then came back to eat my soup.

After work I came home and watched some TV and got ready to go to the movies with Dan, Liz, and Mike!

Liz picked up Dan, and we met at Loews. We wanted to see Borat at 9:00, and we got there an hour and a half early. Unfortunately for us, it was already SOLD OUT! Not only for that show, but for all the rest of the shows for the night! Unbelievable!

While we waited for Mike to arrive, Dan was going around to EVERYONE in the lobby of the movie theater, talking to them and asking them what they were coming to see, and all kinds of other crazy questions! So crazy! It was insane, but soo funny.

Anyway, after Mike arrived we decided to go over to Island 16 to see if they had any remaining times, but they did not. We decided to go bowling, and stopped at Roby Tuesday's on the way to say Hi to Joey.

Then we went out to Melville to go to the new bowling alley "300". It was quite an experience! It's such a weird bowling alley! They have people get your ball and your shoes for you, and then there's a "Lane Captain" who comes over and asks if you need anything... they have couches and tables.. It's all very weird. They still have the same system as the old bowling alley, with the cool graphics. The bathroom are also Exactly the same.. they must have just made the new place around them! LOL

What's surprising to me is that Melville AMF, before the change to "300" was one of the nicest.. or THE nicest AMF bowling alley I have ever been to... so for them to completely redo it and make it this super-fancy place seems a little weird, since there are so many lesser alleys, like Smithtown that maybe could have used an overhaul, and they would have made it into this special place in the process. Unless it's that they had such a nice alley, and did a better business, so they got the privilege of upgrading. LOL I dunno.

Anyway, it was a fun experience....we all enjoyed, and there are some pics which I will post as soon as possible..so check out Fojin for details!

After that we went back to the movie theater to drop off cars, and then headed home. Now it's time for bed, and I must get to sleep! Sooo tired!

Until tomorrow...

Goodnight. :)
