Happy Friday!

Today I got up at the usual time, and headed off to work.  I tried to leave a little later than usual, but it didn't really work out that well.  I wanted to get there a little late cause I was there so late the night before, but unfortunately I am incapable of doing that, and I arrived promptly at 9.

It was possibly the craziest day at work EVER.  It started at 9:30am when the fire alarm and burglar alarm went off causing a piercing sound as both of the alarms were going at the same time.  Diane and I ran downstairs and Fran ran to the panel, and we turned it off, and then tried to call the Central Station.  Fran told them not to come, that there was no fire, but then they called Dan's dad and said they HAD dispatched the fire department.  The panel downstairs said that the alarm went off in "Duct #1" which is where a man was working on the heating system at the time. (However, he claims he didn't do anything that would set it off. Hmm..)  So anyway, Verizon came to look at out internet, because we had been having intermittent troubles, and the internet company noticed and wanted to send someone to look at it.  I showed them to the basement, and they disconnected out internet for an hour or so, only to conclude that the problem was outside the building.  As always.  The left, and re-connected it, but it only stayed on for about 20 minutes, and then we went down again.  Grrrrrr.  So the internet was out for the rest of the day, and we ran the credit cards on Offline mode, which is Dialing up on the server to make a slow connection, but a connection nonetheless.  So, then we had a problem at the end of the day in the restaurant where the tips wouldn't add to the credit cards because of some error with the dial up, and it caused a huge fiasco, and I didn't leave until 5:40.  Sigh. lol  It really was a crazy day!

I came home and took a shower, and Dan picked me up at 7:00.  We went back to his house, and I picked up some Spaghetti and Meatballs from Don Jono's on the way.  We went back to his house and consumed, and then Re came over.  We went out to 300 for some bowling excitement, and to expose Re to the craziness of 300.  Out lane captain was a nice guy, a little weird, but nice.  The manager came over and offered us all a free drink from the bar, any of the specialty drinks!  We were quite happy with that.  We found out later that they were training a new bartender, and so that's why they did that.  It worked out well for us!!  We enjoyed.

So anyway, after that we went back to Dan's and hung around for a bit, and Kristen drove me home.

Now I must get to bed!  It's been a long week, and some much needed rest tonight!!
