"air show" or "kristen and don are back"

Hey Journal!

Well...back again so soon.. lol Feels like just minutes ago that I wrote yesterday's entry! Oh, it was.

So anyway, today we got up at a most ungodly time..7:30am! Ahh! We got ready and headed over to Dan's house to get some beach chairs and a blanket.

We got to Jones' Beach at about 9:15 and the Air Show started at 10! It was a really nice day at the beach, and I think I managed to get a little color even with my caked on sunscreen! :) No burns! :)

Anyway, the planes were cool, and we had a fun time... We got some cool free samples from the booths around the boardwalk, and the people in front of us were entertaining. There was an Asian family with a little girl named Mary Lou, and an hispanic family with a little girl and an older boy.. and the three dug a large hole in the beach, but it was hysterical watching some of the things that went on. For example, when Mary Lou shoveled four quick shovels full of dirt DIRECTLY at her father, it went all over his head and his chair, and he was quite unhappy. Then there was the interaction of the two little girls, sometimes Mary Lou would be mean and nasty to the other one, and throw sand at her, and even threw a bucket at her while she was down in the hole.. and the other girl was seemingly so nice. However, at one point the other girl was doing something nasty to Mary Lou when she was minding her own business.. lol.. Kids! It was funny.

Anyway, we departed a little early because we wanted to beat the traffic... Last year we were stuck in the traffic of TONS of people leaving at once! This year we just beat the rush and had absolutely no traffic at all! Nice!

So, we came home, took showers, ate some lunch, watched some TV, and then tried to take a nap.

After that, Kristen and Don came over at about 7:00. We hung out, ordered a pizza, and then were waiting for Sam to arrive, but sadly she was not feeling well, so she did not come!

We tried t go mini golfing, but we got there and there was a long wait, and it was just INSANE there.. so we departed. We went to the Italian ice place in Commack.. Ralph's, and sat outside at a picnic table watching the he craziness that went on there... The wild girl behind the counter who claimed to have been there since 11am and was working till 1am. She kept talking a mile a minute and eating ices. Then there was the skeevy guy with TWO phones who kept walking around talking and being annoying.

It was fun times.

We came back here, and Dan and I were watching some TV... and now I MUST get to bed.. I'm exhausted!
