Hey Journal!

Back Home. It's always nice to be back home and to be in your own bed, and your own place.. but I miss Montreal!! It was a nice, fun, beautiful city. And we can't forget Fred and Charles! They made it so exciting, they showed us around and we had so much fun with them! They were so great!

Anyway, we woke up at about 8:00 this morning, and got a quick breakfast at McDonald's. Then we checked out of the hotel, and headed for the Casino. We played our $20 limit each, and lost all of it. :(

We then hit the road! Traffic wasn't a problem, but at the border, they took FOREVER checking people, and inspecting their licenses. It was grueling. We waited in line for about 50 minutes. What a waste.

Then, we had the misfortune of having a run-in with the law. I think Dan may have been going a very little over the speed limit on a road where a State Trooper was hiding out. He pulled us over and, sadly, gave us a ticket. But it was weird because he wrote that Dan said he was going around 80MPH, but Dan never told him that... and LATER, when Dan asked him about that, he said.. "I thought I heard you say that. It's not a direct quote." It was a little odd. Then he was telling us how to get it reduced to a parking ticket, and how to try to get it dismissed. Very strange.

Anyway, that put a rain cloud over the drive home... but what can you do.. we had an AMAZING weekend, and if we get a small "parking ticket" it won't be the end of the world.

So... Anyway, we made excellent time even with the customs thing, and getting pulled over! We got back at about 8:00, I think. When we got back, we got unpacked and got ready for bed. We spoke to Charlot and Fred online quickly! Oh, how we miss them already!! I want them to come visit!!

Now, it's time for bed!
