"visiting joey" or "re's mystery contact"

Hey Journal!

Today I got up at 9:30, although I had planned to sleep much later. This was quite upsetting to me!

I ate some Crispix for breakfast, and then watched Wednesday's episode of Pushing Daisies! It was another odd episode, but a pretty interesting show. I still don't know how to feel about it overall, but I will keep watching!

We then decided to go for a walk. I did some French lessons, and then did some random stuff online, and then we went to Blydenburgh for a walk.

We started out as usual walking down to the pond and then around the side, but we went off onto some street, and walked down it for a while, then were on Old Willets Path, and decided to walk to Dan's house. So we went over there and said Hi to his mom who was making a cake. We had a snack and then watched some shows on TV until she was able to drive us back to our car.

After that, we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and purchased one of those folding clothes drying racks for Dan to use to put his clothes on after he comes home from the gym. Cause they're all sweaty, and there's nowhere else to put them!

So after that, we went to the mall and wandered around there for a while. I got to finally play with the new iPod Touch at the apple store. It was most exciting. I want one. Too bad I already have an iPod that I don't use enough to make it worth the money that IT cost, let alone to buy another one that I won't use enough. lol

So, after the mall we planned to go visit Joey at work and eat dinner. Kristen said she was not going to go over to JC's because she had / might have had a cold, and didn't want to get the baby sick, so she was up for coming!

Joey was happy to see us, and of course, we were happy to see Joey! We had a very enjoyable dinner, and one of the highlights was, as we were waiting for dinner, Re says that he contact was really bothering her. So, I gave her some of my eye drops, and she said it felt better, but then a little bit later, it started up again. So, she thought that it might be in backwards or something. So, she took out her mirror, and took it out. After she took the contact out, she realized that she could STILL see perfectly! lol So, she reached in, and pulled out ANOTHER ONE!! So, somehow, she had TWO contacts in her right eye! How wild is that! It is still unknown exactly how that happened! That's wild!

Anyway, once that problem was solved, we got our food, and consumed. Joey's friend Jill was working also, so we got to say Hi to her, too. Then Joey came out and asked us if we wanted to go to a place called, "Cho's"! lol We ALL heard him say Cho's, but apparently, later, he said that he said "Toast"! LOL But it wasn't for tonight... for a Sunday in the future.

After Ruby's, we didn't know what to do, so we took a little drive down to Port Jeff, and a little walk around. Then we went to Dairy Barn to get some Iced Tea and Lemonade, and then dropped Kristen off at home cause we were getting sleepy!

Anyway, now it's time for bed! Tomorrow is Dziadzi's B-day brunch! lol
