"limon, costa rica" or "bike riding adventure"

Hey Journal!

Today we went to Limon, Costa Rica! We had to get up early, around 6:45. When we woke up the sun hadn't come up yet, but we were docked.

We were going to order breakfast in the room but they didn't give us a card to fill out for it last night. :( So instead we went to Horatio's Restaurant to get some breakfast there. I got sausage and cereal and took some boxes of Cheerios for the bus ride to our excursion so that we didn't get hungry like yesterday!

We got on the bus and took an hour and a half ride to a town called Manzanilla. There we got off the bus and went into a hotel which was IN the rain forest. We went to the bathroom, put on sunscreen, and then got bicycles!

We rode down a dirt road through the rain forest and then out onto a bigger paved road. We rode for a while and then got to a beach where we looked at the water and hung out there for a while. We then turned around and went to a little Carribean village where Dan bought three beers and a bottle of Sprite for $5.

We then biked back to the little hotel, had a little snack, and then took the bus ride home. The bus tour guide was named Sebastian and he spoke English well except for one phrase that he said OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. He kept saying, "what it is" at times when it made no sense. For example... "Here we play what it is baseball, and what it is basketball, and what it is volleyball." or "When we get back to your what it is cruise ship.."

So, we got back at about 2:15 and had to get on the boat right away because we had to be on board by 2:30.

We had lunch and then took showers and time for a NAP!

We got up at about 7:00 and got ready for dinner....

Dinner was good, they didn't sing or dance...they had a break from that, apparently! lol

UPDATE 1/7 11:30am

After dinner we went to Karaoke for a little while and went to the Guest Talent Show, and then went outside for the deck party. We did a conga line and hung out with Holly, Amanda, and their friend Kendall. We then took the party to Dr. Frankenstein's Lab. We partied there for a while, all the regulars were there...Calvin Klein, Hollister, etc. We did socialize with some new people.... a dealer and supervisor from the casino, Ionut and Inga. We hung out with them until Dr. Frankenstein's closed, and then we went to the bar at the back of the ship.

Anyway....

Tomorrow is another day at sea!! Woo. Some fun to be had, im sure.
