Hey Journal!

Today I got up at about 10:00, and first, unexpectedly, the cable guy came to give us a free HD box because of some changes that Cablevision made. So... we have a random HD box that we don't even have a TV for! Oh well!!

Then my mom came by with Eric and they started for like 15 minutes or so.

Then Dan and I got ready and we headed out to Huntington because the one and only Barbara Walters was going to be at the Book Review signing her new book!! :) :) BARBARA.

We got there about 45 minutes early, and really weren't too far back on the line. We waited 55 minutes for her to arrive, (she was ten minutes late)... and then it took another 30 mins or so to get to her in the line!! It was crazy... it went by so fast... Dan got a picture of me standing at the table while she signed the book!! She said "Hi Guys" to us! She's so cool. Too bad they weren't allowing pictures with her or anything. :(

After that we came home...it was like 90 degrees out! Sooo hot. We hung around for a while, and then at 5:30 departed for Jones Beach for our Volleyball game.

The McSpikesters did well tonight! Re wasn't there, and neither were Robby and Phil. The opposing team was a team of old people who seemed the have their act together. They had a good run in the first game, and we couldn't come back to win... BUT the McSpikesters went on to victory in the next two games! :) It was my excellent score keeping and support which guided them to this decisive win!

We then came home, and went back out to meet Lauren at Houlihan's for dinner! We had a very enjoyable time. We were there till about 11, and then we departed.

Now I'm just getting ready for bed... and another fun day tomorrow!!
