"volleyball cancelled" or "voila sighting" or "parade"

Hey Journal!!!

What a crazy day today was! Lots to do, and all non-stop! We got up around 10:30 and Dan went out and got Bagels. We ate and then got ready to go to the Parade.

We were about the head out the door when my mother scared the heck out of us!! She was standing right at the door, and got so scared! lol

We departed, went to the Parade, hung out with Jen B, Kristen, and Mike! It was fun times.

We even saw DEB VOILA THERE!!!! It was sooo wild! I was walking along, and turned around.. and I was SHOCKED! All of a sudden... VOILA! I hurried and got a picture, because I KNEW I had to share it with Kristen as soon as I got home!

Then we were going to head directly to the beach for the volleyball game, but we decided to go back to Dan's house and go in the pool for a little while since we had some time to kill!

It was really really hot out, and the pool felt GREAT, although the minute we got into the pool it became overcast and got breezy. Figures! However it was still most enjoyable.

We then went to Jones Beach for our game. We had to wait because the game was postponed because of the thunder and lightening, although there were only a few drops of rain. We waited for about 45 minutes, and then they canceled the games. :( What a waste. So sad.

We came home and watched some TV, I took a shower, and now it's time for bed! The weekend was jam-packed but it flew by!!!

Back to work tomorrow!!
