"super painters"

Hey Journal!

Today we got up at about 10:30 and the theme of the day was PAINT!!

We had breakfast and watched the movie "Before the Devil Knows You're Dead." The movie was really strange, and ended on a weird note, not even knowing what happened to one of the main characters. That annoyed me. Oh, and one of the other characters, a wonderful nice old lady died. :( That always makes me sad!

So, we picked up Kristen a little before 2, and we began our day of paint! We went to Home Depot and stocked up on supplies! Rollers, brush, tarp, and of course, PAINT!! We picked the color Celery Ice, which is a light limey green color!

We got back home and began taping off the room, putting down the tarp, and then it was time to prime!

We primed the whole kitchen and it was a crazy job! We had a lot of fun doing it, but it was wild.

Dan came over in the middle of the fun, just as we were about to go get some pizza. We went to Aegean and got some very enjoyable pizza, and ate it there.

Next we went back and started with the main painting, which which was fun, but took sooo long to get into all the crazy cracks and spots near the cabinets and all! We definitely have some crazy pics from all of that! lol

It was like 9:30 when we were finally done with it all, and we went to Ralph's to get some Italian ices!! MMM! We then took a walk to Dunkin Donuts and Dan got an iced coffee. We took a little walk, and then got back, and called it a night!!

Dan and I cleaned the kitchen floor and put the appliances back where they belong, and now we end a LONG day of painting.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that we decided to re-do the molding in the kitchen!! We didn't know if we should attempt to pull it off, cause it might have caused a bigger issue, but really it was no big deal at all! It came off fairly problemless!

So, tomorrow's job is molding! We have to go buy some and paint it, and put it up! So be sure to check back for that exciting tale!

Now we MUST get to bed because on top of all that we have Jen B's birthday Brunch tomorrow AM, AND Volleyball!
